Some advisors are saying they will not do 4 for £99. Can we actually refuse when we are in the customers house and they are asking for them? Does the fact that Hillarys advertise them, mean that we have to sell them?

You wouldn't have to sell them if the fabrics were "out of stock" or "sold out", i'm sure not many (if any) would actually check it out. I personally would be surprised if anybody wanted to buy any of the colours available....they are not exactly nice. In the north east we have had 3 for £99 for quite a few months and in all that time I have only sold 4...and that was with a couple of desent fabrics. On the plus side they did lead to better orders with other blinds.

I'm pretty sure that is what they are hoping. I might well just ignore the special offer as they have said it's only while stocks last !

:-[Had 2 leads today 4 for 99. Sold on both but one was for 3 blinds and the other was for 2 blinds. Ignored reductions for fewer than 4 blinds and charged 99 regardless of no of blinds. Customers accepted this as it is still a great deal for them.

for 2 weeks only?? i doubt it........ hillarys are rubbing there hands together and slapping each other on the back saying 'what a fantastic job weve done' when in fact they have dug a massive hole for themselves and looking to us advisors to get them out of it which we will do ..but due to the "success" of this shamefull promo. you will find this offer is a pemanent fixture in the future! i would also guess its been used as a thinning out out process for some of the more inexperienced advisors that are a problem to hillarys...first time in 25 years of selling stuff ive ever had to represent a company that encourages 'dirty deeds'............i hang my head in shame...lol

I went to ANOTHER customer today wanting 4 for £99 (they had the leaflet through the door even though the promotion was never in my area!) I explained that because of the massive response, we had now sold out of every scrap of the "on offer" fabrics. I said they were discontinued lines, and that we would not be able to sell at that price again. And had they wanted orange anyway??? I left them with a quote for £399 instead, but don't expect to hear from them again somehow..... I find it VERY embarrassing..........
