Copy of email posted to Advisor feedback today:
Dear Sir/Madame,
I was very disheartened to find out that an order taken in good faith for seven Woodweave blinds, 50% deposit taken with a signature, then fitted, was invoiced only for six blinds. This error by Hillarys was reported by me, as the customer wanted a complete invoice for all blinds purchased. However the full balance was take (for seven) on credit card and then remaining invoice to be chased up at head office.
After further investigation on chasing the remaining commission, i was informed that ref E922,, £134.00 was refunded back to the customer. So in effect getting a blind for free and me loosing the remaining commission. The blind did not have any DOR issues or any complaints what so ever.
If our aim is to sell as many blinds as we can and to up-sell where we can, at this current time with sales needed in the last quarter,,,,,,,, why do i feel like my bat had been broken by the team captain before the game has even started.
I feel the advisor often gets the short end of the stick a little to often

Hi
According to the rules changed last year you should be paid the commission on the initial payment:-
Changes to commission payments and charges - effective from 8 May 2006:- Discounted invoices/Cancellations/Customer payment
Activity Compensation discount to invoice after original payment in full
Current practice (before 8th May) Commission paid on final payment only (claw-back)
New practice Commission paid on initial payment made (no claw-back)
As long as they paid the full amount originally on fitting then you should not have to repay the commission on the refund made. Good luck

There is a delay between posting and it actually appearing. It may be an anomaly of the forum they are using or it may be so as postings can be vetted first. You pays your money, you takes your choice.

What have you been saying Red to upset them ;D I have only posted once and it was nothing but it was delayed between sending it and it actually showing, others have noticed this as well. It could be anything that causes the delay. A bit like e mail, you can send one to the other side of the world and it gets there in seconds or you could send one to your neighbor and it takes six hours. I wouldn't worry too much.
