Sorry guys but I find the comments being made to be just plain offensive. If I was Ross K I would now be doing everything within my power to find out who you were and do something about it. What is going on here is not constructive and is not helping the cause of advisors. As I have said before without the sales force there is no Hillarys and it would be completely against the firm for managemant to stuff all the advisors. However I have allways been a great believer in the saying if you can't stand the heat get out of the kitchen so can only assume that it is getting a bit hot for some of you. For 13 years I have made a decent living out of Hillarys and hope to do so in the future but slagging off the management in the way that some are doing at the moment is definitely not helping my cause. We don't all feel the way that you do and are prepared to give a little to hopefully gain a lot.

Do you know what guys.......I'd all thought you'd learned your lessons last week after attacking me personally. What is the matter with the lot of you? Do you find it impossible to post anything constructive? Why are you personally attacking Golfsthegame because he/she has a different view to you. At least he was able to express his view contructively unlike some of you! Greenpesto, I also found one of your postings very offensive implying a vulgar swear word. I'll no longer be posting on this site until the moderators can sort out these personal attacks both on advisors and head office staff. Karen  |

Karen Karen...please don't do that, because then they have won ! There have always been a few on this forum who have resorted to abuse and insults, and the best defence is to either ignore them completely, or to respond to their comments in a more reasonable and constructive manner. Some of them have mellowed with time and have become the mainstay of this forum, whilst those remaining are just quite pathetic. Take, for example, Victor Meldrew's recent attack on another advisor, calling him a 'brown-noser'. If the best Victor can come up with (in response to a perfectly reasonable opinion from another advisor) is to resort to name calling and to question somebody's loyalty and motivation, then that makes Victor no better than a playground bully. Do we give in to playground bullies ? Are we going to stop being contructive because somebody hiding behind a fake identity chooses to make a juvenile attack on us ? You bet your life we're not ! There is much that we need to discuss amongst ourselves, and with the company. By doing so constructively we really can achieve progress. So don't let the spoilers get us down - we can outnumber them, we can move forward despite them, and hopefully we can shame them in the process. We must not let them win. Karen....hope you, and others, will keep posting and keep this forum alive. By all means be negative and critical about the things that frustrate us all every day - that is the whole point - but let's continue to do so in a decent and contructive manner. |

I concur with Hereticus. It is the attitude of a minority of members on this forum that forced Ross Kenney and others to withdraw. How would they like it if they were insulted in this manner with no opportunity to respond because they don't know who is insulting them. I know I certainly wouldn't like it.

Karen I personally am in favour of venting frustrations on this forum and have never wiped off a post .What I do not like is people calling successful and motivated advisor's brown noses etc ,Take a look at yourselves some of you is it fair to have a covert go at someone because they obviously do a better job than yourselves ,whose problem is it  There are mainly two types of adviser the one that gets on with 3for99,dors,lack of leads ,quality etc and works to the ethic of this is my business I need to make the best of what I have and not wallow in self pity.The second type moan all day long about the above problems or they live in the wrong area blah blah blah blah My point ......Why do you feel it necessary to attack a fellow adviser that talks of success surely you should want to follow their example even if it involves a small amount of "brown nosing" and a larger amount of making the most of what you have after all we work on commission what we put in we get out. Now before you jump in with your story's of once I had 30 leads a week no 3 for 99 and I live up north I will put this to you. I used to work for Hillary's covering most of the midlands new parks ,st Anne's ,Broxtowe ,braunstone, Newark ,Grantham etc etc most of these have all the undesirables you all talk about .I also used to get 25plus leads a week I also have had 3for99 my deliveries would make you cry I live on a island they are handled by 6 different people before they see me.I now get 8to12 leads a week so what do I do about it do I attack KAREN or GOLFSTHEGAME or do I do something about it I could leave or I could pull my finger out of my b7ckside and sort things out. So please next time you attack someone for having a good week or being positive all you really are doing is saying "I cant hack it ". |
