Rather than download Upgrades and Customer Database through GPRS, if you have Broadband Internet then download through that. You must install ActiveSync onto the PC. This is on one of the CD's that came with Sam. Plug the charging cradle into a USB port and connect with the Internet on the PC. Then on SAM click 'setup' and 'Request Customer Data'. For downloads follow the instruction sheet they send out for normal downloads first ensuring SAM is connected to the PC and you are online with the Internet. If you live in a bad reception area for Vodaphone then orders will automatically download to Nottingham when SAM is connected to the PCand online.
