Whats the point of having the option on sam to request hold down brackets for 25 mm vens, when you never bloody well receive them........... oh well looks like another 15 mins listening to piped music in the morning waiting to get through to sdervice centre again.......... This has always been a problem. You order them with the order and they never come, same with Usbs. The secret is, when you do finally get through then order about 10 sets as spares and get some usbs at the same time. In fact draw up a list of all the spares you will be likely to need, eg roller brackets, chain, chain connectors, usbs, everything to can think off. You will need them at some time or other. Also, when you send a dor back, strip it down to its bare bones to top up your spares, even poles out of rollers come in handy. There is nothing worse than fitting blinds only to find you can not finish the job for the sake of a small part. Inconvenience for you, the customer and it takes ages to get to you. Red

If I need a set on 1 blind of an order, I order them with every single blind. Law of averages, I'll get some, though not necessarily packed with the right blind. Any surplus are a bonus for future use

I try to never phone, as it takes ages to get through.
I now e-mail servicecentre@hillarys.co.uk for all DORs and component requests. It gives you a permanent record of what you request, saves time, and so far all requests have gone through and been received.
I also e-mail samples@ for samples for customers , order pads etc.

When I wanted hold down brackets before Christmas all I got was a bucketful of UEB's in every different colour. They did eventually send me some in the post. The UEB's came in handy though when I fitted some venetians in a conservatory, they must have known I had some spare, because the ones I did order didn't arrive.
