Once again, our hard earned money at work.

This time SAM's update will include more products and have the ability to 'keep' a quote for 24 hours before sending it to HQ so we have the chance to close the deal ourselves.

A few other minnor tweaks but these are the main ones.

CHEAP PAPER SOLUTION.

Try This,

With fax machines becoming far less popular these days
the thermal paper they use has dropped in price ,
so heres what i have done,

you will have to invest a few quid in a paper cutting machine £ 23.00 or so , but it works fine.
you will find that the width of standard fax paper is exactly equal to two sheets of C5 paper u can cut 200 sheets in 1/2 an hour easily; at a small fraction of the cost of buying from HQ.

I use high quality GP3 paper roll ,so now i can print off to my hearts content, and use the printer to its full capacity.

IE; 3 copies of the order one for me , one for the customer & one for head office.
End of day reports ? no problem now !!!.

A few tips to follow ;
1. paper must be cut squarely.
2. after cutting 30 sheets or so bend them to take out the curl.
3. shuffle the sheets before putting them in the C5 box
4 make sure u put it in the right way up.

you will be amazed at how many sheets u can get out of one roll of paper.

any news on getting the customer database on for self generated leads?

I am coming up to 400 orders on sam, and have never sent a copy to hillarys.

They have never asked for one either.

We have the customer database for selfgen leads on our SAM as we have been trialing it. It's brilliant works really well. It's easy to download if you have broadband, but for those advisors who don't, i think H.O. are trying to find an easier way rather than download it via gprs as this will cost about £10.
