If you want to find out what SAM customers have asked about when they rang up -or which kind of Blinds they are thinking of, before you hit the door-bell,then do as follows::---
Click on the client , then 2 green arrow clicks will take you to the "Outcome for Sales" Box.
Hit the down arrow and highlight "Roof/Conservatory Referral". ( No I don't know why either!!)
Then click the green forward arrow and There you go!!
Sadly there is no option for " Mean git in filthy house on rancid estate with more glass and fridges in the drive than glass and fridges in the actual house insisting on 3 wooden venetians for £99" but as this is an ongoing Hillary client profile in Midlands areas I assume they will offer this option soon. 20% of my leads last week were just that--
Hope it wasnt the same nationwide, folks

Well Spotted BEAR--Not that the info we used to get on clients requirements was accurate in the good old pre-SAM days, but this is genuine help!! Thanks 4 that. Doubtless it will be removed soon by the " faceless ones"as it will be deemed to be assisting Advisors-and we cant have that can we --in these new "Hillarys way" days. ( Thinks-Can one have a " Hillarys Awayday"?)

And that's not all !
Another trick I learned this week is how to get full customer information longer in advance.
You can see sales appointments booked days or even weeks ahead, but do not have the customer's address, phone number, or special instructions (i.e timed calls) until the day before.
In actual fact all that information is already held in SAM's memory but is 'date protected' so if you change 'todays date' you can access the information that will enable you to plan your diary better.
Go to start menu, tap 'settings', then 'system', then 'clocks and alarms', tap onto the date, bring up the keyboard to change the date, tap OK, then back out to start menu, into SAM, and you can see the appointments for that day and the next day.
Two hints when doing this - always remember to change the date back again afterwards and, if SAM offers to run Housekeeping (triggered by the date function) tap NO.
Any more tricks with SAM ? (Perhaps we should call it Samantha because, after months of acquaintance, we realise we still don't begin to understand her).

If you're unlucky enough to get an "appointments & availability" update whilst the date is changed, you need to change the date back then, "request latest information" (SAM start up page, tools, request latest information) or else the system won't do the 3 hourly poll as it thinks it's up to date
