HI Farmer
Do you live in the country? Is that why your leads are so far away?
I would contact the 9-12 appt, 12 miles away and see if I could rebook her for 6-9 slot so that I could do her on way to 17mile away appt.
Alternatively, would look in my diary to see when if I was in that area any other time and reschedule the leads to suit my travel time.
I don't travel that far..........furthest I go at mo is probabaly 8-10 miles. Unless it's for shutters, awnings or con roofs that I consider travelling further.
Do you want Russell to type exactly what he says at each call in order to sell? Bit daft I think if thats what you're asking. I'm just enthusiastic and confident of my product when I go in and sell.
Got two examples for you.
Today, customer answered door saying she wanted verts for con sides and something for the roof but definately not pleated. Wanted "flat" or roller type blinds for roof. I took the pleated in anyway. Came away with at £3549 order for 20ml power crank roof pleats and verts for sides.
Yesterday, did an awning call. Customer really impressed with our awning and my sales pitch and me!!!! When it came to price tho, I quoted £2295 and they came out with a long list of phone quotes from various companies ranging from £1300 to £1900. But I still came away with the order because I knew my product and was very confident with it.
I used the interest free credit option for both of these orders too. The Awnings customer tried to knock the price down if he didn't take out the IFC as he was aware that it would cost Hillarys more but I stood my ground politely and got the full value order. ;D
Obviously, this doesn't happen all the time and I do leave quotes which occassionally are then turned by the quote team or me. But I really feel if you go in confident and with a good knowledge and give the impressions that you're proud to be part of Hillarys (even if some of you aren't...........I'm sure some of you run the company down to customers) you have a better chance of selling.
K ;D
