Ever since the shut down at Xmas I have been unable to book self gen leads through SAM. It also no longer gives order information on the fit appointment. I was told by ITC that these problems would be fixed on the update last weekend but nothing has changed. Is anyone else experiencing these problems or is it "only me"

Ever since the shut down at Xmas I have been unable to book self gen leads through SAM. It also no longer gives order information on the fit appointment. I was told by ITC that these problems would be fixed on the update last weekend but nothing has changed. Is anyone else experiencing these problems or is it "only me" I think everyone is expiriencing problems with Sammy. My main one is things are not coming as I have ordered them, for instance controls on the wrong side head rails too long etc, I have no way of checking what I input to what I have received. I have been lucky so far and have managed to sort them out but I know I am not on my own on this as my fitter fits for a few of us and says each one of us are getting more than our average of blinds wrong. Rollers too big, rails too short etc. So it is not only me. I have invoices with minus balances as well. Its a nightmare to sort out. Red

.......... I have no way of checking what I input to what I have received. ...........Red Simple, go back to the original order in SAM, open order and select "view order", the full detail will still be there, unless job is a couple of months old. If that fails, go to "order list" and find order, then simply view it. I've just looked at an order dated 16/11/06 that way. Not difficult, just need to think where it can be found

Problems have been further compounded today by a message that reads "Could not send Certicated Request, The application experienced an internal error loading the SLL libraries" what this means is that SAM will not send or recieve any data until a rebuild is done (previous experience, many times) so I rang ITC at 4:20pm and was told that it was too late to do a rebuild, ring back monday morning. In the meantime I have orders queued, am not getting my appointments on SAM and will have to revert to paper orders if I can find some order pads

Can anyone explain this one. I took an order for a single vertical. Printed out the SAM slip then waited and waited but no blind. On investigation it turns out that there is nothing on the system but a quote. Funy says I as I have ORDER p/out. Next stop IT. The order is on the system but so is the quote. Funny says I but I never did a quote only an order so why has it not been produced. Dont know say IT but if you ring quotes they will sort it.---------long conversation------ no furthur forward but quotes have converted it ?? I also requested that quotes put a note on the system so that the senior person knows the story before he investigates ,and rings me as promised ,and also a side bet that order will be duplicated. Moral of the story is PRINT OUT YOUR OWN COPY ON THE DAY. The Gremlins are multiplying

Sam again Watch out.
Printed out a customer order today. One copy for them and one for me . After getting home I then print my own copies for filing. Dont know this happened but the last p/out at home had actually TRIPPLED THE ORIGINAL ORDER. obviously I have photocopied the original order with the customer signature on it. Has anyone else experienced this.

SAM,yet again. Keep an eye on your commission. Especially the ones with split invoices or negative balances. I fitted two orders, one for 293.00 and only got 12.94 commission and the other for 62.12 and only got 0.65 pence commission. Both went through Sam and both for the full amount . Both invoices were sent in and both were amended to show the correct amount, so how it managed to underpay I dont know. Poor Dawn must be pulling her hair out in commissions.

Sent through 2 orders on Saturday , but 24 hours later they still show as 'in queue' on SAM . This is unusual .
It must indicate the HO comp is not recieving the info , as there are no Red errors on SAM to indicate lack of transmission.
SAM situations are causing concerns!

Is any one else having connection problems with SAMMY. I have not had a successful connection since 6.00pm on Thursday night. I have tried updating but just get an error. Orders have not been sent and new customers have not gone on to it. Getting totally fed up with the constant problems with this little t#$t. Probably have to spend another hour on the phone to IT on Monday morning. Is the server down or IS IT JUST ME?

I had problems Wednesday, hadn't updated since late Tuesday. As you say, spent 3/4 hour Thursday morning with ICT, but OK now. Lost all orders taken Wednesday, had to re-input. ICT assured me that c/c deposits hadn't been taken, even though I had an authorisation code - WRONG! Then had to talk with s/s to get deposits moved from original order no. to new order no. Great Fun, left me an hour behind before I'd even started that day. Been OK since, but very slow. Looking forward to upgrade in April, supposedly faster and more stable - we'll see. I've noticed order details are going in with fits now though
