Have anyone of you ever shortened a wooden venetian blind? My customer wants it shorter with 3 slats, was exact measurement with her consent, she still not happy with result and wants it shorter. If I send it back to be done by Hillarys they will charge her almost 70 pounds to re-cord the venetian. Any suggestions? If you just need to remove 3 slats then quiet easy on the old style (I had to swap a slat which is pretty much the same amount of work). Think new ones will be the same just detach ladders & pull cord from base rail, remove slats, cut ladder shorter then re-attach. If new style then you might have to detach pull cord from headrail if has pulley wheel at bottom. Another advisor who has actually done it may be able to add more info. As brazil says "Your customer received what she ordered !" so I would charge her
