Just talked to I T department told them that SAM would not take roller blind width over 171cm although spec says 175cm informed that they know of problem and will release update at weekend to fix bug say for now enter smaller width and ring SAM service line with correct sizes

Same problem with 50mm woods Sam wouldn't accept size when it was in spec... (They are also sorting that out.) It's a good idea to double check in your price book if SAM says out of spec. before you tell the customer we can't do it.

Before Christmas I booked time off for training courses Jan & Feb. Time was taken out by diary maintenance and clearly showing on fax copy, but SAM still shows full availability - and I've gone a booked a fit in!!! Anyone else booking time off, check SAM. If wrong, do TOOLS - REQUEST LATEST INFORMATION, and SAM is will be corrected, but this shouldn't be necessary

I have a problem with SAM pricing - IS IT ONLY ME???
Verticals show Jan promotions, but vens & rollers still show Xmas offers. Night sky, blackout roller on Jan 1/2 price, not even listed. Spoke with SAM help today and there's a price fix download. Did download, still got Xmas vens & rollers, still not got night sky

I believe this error has now been rectified.

Hi all
This isn't a SAM Bug but an error observation by the operator who raised the DOR. SAM has no impact on what is raised on a DOR.

As the Winter promotion started on the 26th December (after we broke up for Christamas) you needed to download the pricing before then. Therefore we had to leave the Xmas sale items on the lists as they were still valid - however, pricing for these items finished on the 26th. Hope this explains the question

Hi Kevin Is this a bug or ?? I have just completed a fitting which was processed on SAM. The fianl balance on SAM WAS £59.40, a large order you will notice,but the original sales value and final balances were all wrong. How can SAM print out a set of figures and the final invoice be different? As the customer was a pensioner I had to explain that she only had to pay the SAM balance. Quite upset she was as she picked up the invoice before I noticed. MM

Sam issue... 35mm Chilton Teak is showing as unavailable on SAM, when it IS available. I have had a couple of orders where I have had to put in another colour and then phone up to change it to Chilton Teak... Is anyone else having problems downloading their customer database. I have tried it with SAM on its own and I have tried it connected to my PC, but it just keeps coming back and saying "The application has not recieved the referral data. Please try again" It's been like this for about 2 weeks

Update by Phugly Just spoken to IT regarding this problem and it appears that if you already have all your customers downloaded it wont download any more

Several weeks ago i downloaded the customer data to my SAM. The result was just 592 entries covering a vast postcode area? Since the last memo on the subject i again attempted a further download but no new additions were added? So i have given up trying to add on self generated leads for SAm diary or orders . Errr back to paper then - at least its a sight more reliable. Is anyone else having problems downloading their customer database.
