Personally I wouldnt be without it , all I have to hope for now is that my number of leads pick up, it's absolutely dead in this area at the moment

Me.
Waiting for glitches etc to be resolved. Not wanting to be guinea pig - can be frustrating enough doing this job!!
Listening out for improvements and re cost reductions eg printer before finally taking the plunge.
as an aside - a customer told me on Thursday that unless I had SAM I wouldn't be working with Hillarys soon! - Are they trying to recruit us to SAM as part of the appointment booking process?...

Dennis......get SAM. Trust me, they are serious about getting rid of agents who won't take it..... and very soon too! I believe the training program for existing advisors has now stopped, and new advisors being taken on will be trained to use it during their induction.

Dennis if you are waiting for all "glitches etc to be resolved" you'll wait forever, believe me I was in IT for 20 years.
Been using sam 6 months, yep there are improvements that can be made but it's good now and updates are being made regularly.

I've had SAM for 10 months now and we see more improvements all the time.
Feedback from us is what they need, so the more of us on it the more weight it will add to have future improvements done.

I personally cant see the reticence in going for SAM. Just look at what you are getting
An expensive PDA free with a very low monthly rental and very competetive phone charges. A printer. (ok, so it costs £317.00 but its way cheaper than a franchise. Not only does the PDA come with most of our products pre-loaded there are constant upgrades paid for by Hillarys, its a personal organiser, reminder, diary and more. You can also use it for other uses. I use mine as for satelite navigation and I've heard of others that use it as an MP3 player.
I say go for it

to put sat/nav on SAM you need a GPS reciever (wired or bluetooth, mine is wired and consequently cheaper) you also need the software including the maps that you require. It is also advisable to buy a bigger SD memory card ( I got a 1Gb card from Ebuyer.com for £45)
