8-)Evening Folks
Has anyone found a way to convert a quote on Sam back into a sale.Spoke to Quotes today and they say only they can do it.That means they also get the credit.No wonder the so called H/O ratio is improving.

As I understand it, they are going to have this in place for the next update.
Hopefully soon as I do hate it when customers change their mind on the same day !
Nice to get the sale, bugger to sort it out onto the system again !

re Sam quotes
the only way i know, is if you put it on sam as a paper quote, it will allow you to go back in and change it to a pda order.it.s a bit of messing about and you need to make sure the customer rings you and as theres no order on sam quote dept get no details at all.

SAM quotes? If you don't send the quote off to Hillarys via SAM then all the order details are lost. Annoying, as quite often you don't actually want to send the quote to Hillarys.... not straight away anyway.....  And as you say quotes get the credit for a conversion, or they offer a silly discount.) |

As I understand it we will have access to a SAM quote upto 48hrs when we get the next update.
Plenty of time to allow for follow ups.
