Several of my wooden venetian customers have sympathised with me over the quality of their orders realising that I am not the one at fault. They have assured me (with a bit of encouragement) that they will write to the head honcho with their comments. In the meantime I will do all that I can to steer future customers towards Aluwood and tell them the reasons why. If they still want to order woods after I've explained the quality problems then thats their perogative

I AM GUILTY Yes, I hold my hand up and say I have been a right moaning sod lately. Maybe justifiably so maybe not, but I am going to make it my new years resolution to try my best to stop moaning and I think we should all try and do the same. Lets make this a more positive notice board. I know there are a lot of problems out there that need sorting but we need to pull together, Hillary's included. We as advisor's need to stop slagging off the fsms and other co workers, yes thats what they are, co workers, we are after all supposed to be on the same side. In return Hillary's need to listen and help the advisor's they have. I think that Hillary's by now have got the gist of the worst problems so the ball is in there hands now to try and solve them. I also think that some advisor's should tone down the approach they use when addressing problems, it will never succeed in doing anything constructive. Just alienating themselves and other advisor's from the fsms and Hillary's in general. Yes, you do have a right to moan on this board but please keep it factual and less of the expletives, it does not help our cause in the least bit. Frustration is a bad thing to have and it helps to let of steam on here but it may also be frightening off other advisor's that do not want to be tarred with the same brush, but would like to have there say on here. I know of a few of them. Red

I think your right red but it is difficult when there is no feedback or answers from FSMs/Head Office to feel we are being listened to and the comments have been taken on board. This means the moans continue.
If you boil it down there are probably only 5 or 6 key issues that we are complaining about but most threads end up coming back to them therefore end up "moaning".
If we had an "issue/complaints" section and one thread for each then the rest of the forum could be kept positive/constructive. If an issue is posted on other threads they can be moved to where they belong. Also Management know the section they need to offer answers/explanations to quickly before we all wind each other up even more.
Sounds sensible but don't know if practical. What do you think Motters ??

Merry Christmas to all, and enjoy the rest and relaxation - it has not been a good year for most of us but lets start off positively in the New Year.
I have to agree totally with Red's comments earlier today that, whilst we have lots to complain about, we should start the New Year in a positive frame of mind and at least ensure that our criticisms are contructive.
I think my New Year Resolution would have to be that Hillarys and their Advisors (with the help of this forum as a communicator) work together to everybody's mutual benefit. What say you ?
Seasons Greetings to all
Mike
