Bit miffed over the weekend to find I was quoting pleated roof and tab against a local competitor offering their new honeycomb blinds, supplied by Arena. My first reaction was why on earth do the competition get these new products before we do? It shows where Hillarys feel their future lies. But on reflection, and having taken the order from them at £2.9k, maybe it's not so bad. History tells us the level of DORs and mis-information associated with new products at Hillarys. Let the trade suffer all that, I don't want them until Hillarys can REALLY make them.

Just looking through the new roller blind collection and have to say it looks much fresher and more modern than previous ones, so looking forward to using it next week.
but, and there's always a BUT At the risk of boring everyone with my fixation on lack of joined up management ....... this week I've received ........ new roller blind samples with no prices new roman price lists with no samples
Any one remember Bryan Rix?

It just gets betterer and betterer.......... Just done the latest SAM update as requested, got all the new romans listed, but books are being sent out next week. So I can't sell woods because they're going to be out of stock, can't sell romans because I've got old samples and new prices. At least I can fall back on paper orders for romans, that is until Hillarys phase them out

I'm hoping that David Kent will bring my presenters to the meeting on Wednesday.............we've finally got the kids sorted so will see you all then!! Karen ;D

I certainly won't be updating my SAM until I get the new roller and roman books! Can't afford not to have 2 lots of blinds to sell!! What is going.......the mailers say contact us by email if you haven't received your books by the 18th October...........what on earth are we supposed to sell in the meantime...........common sense dictates they knew the launch dates, 25 September for Romans and 2 October for Rollers so why on earth not roll out the new books a week before................I'm now speechless for a change!! PHUGLY i am in the same position as you. I dont know why things are not done for everyone at the same time. Confuses us and Hillarys as well.
