I have decided it is not a good idea to leave an "At Home" magazine if you are leaving a quote........ the web page is advertised on every page..... therefore also directing customers to Web Blinds where they can get our blinds for half the price and a free game of golf thrown in!!

I ordered one myself 2 weeks back, came within 5 working days, had better sized screws ( same as verts ) . Seems that internet orders are much better .
It was less than 1/2 the price I could of sold it through SAM and quicker !
But, I was too early it seems as I could of had a freebie it I had known !

Just looked at the blinds supermarket web site !
Ordered a few sample fabrics , just to give them something to do tomorrow!
Reading on the site about conservatory roof blinds , it states if you contact blinds supermarket they can recommend a fitter ! OK now what i want to know is WHO IS THE FITTER ?
Someone help me out here!

In our local free paper hillarys have two ads in the sits vac section, one for sales specialists to sell awnings shutters and conservatory roof blinds and another for installers to fit shutters and conservatory roof blinds. Both positions are self employed, commision only.
Its the end of the world as we know it

Kwikfitfitter
Have any advisors in your area approached Hillarys to become a specialist selling awnings, shutters and con roofs?
If not, that's why they're probably advertising.

I would suspect a shift away from "standard " advisors to more specialists

they are cutting out the 'dead wood' for sure.
in the next year expect more online sales for normal jobs and fewer advisors.
