I know this is completely off topic but ................... Parking meters that ask for your registration number only require 1 digit to be pressed before it will accept coins. This means that you CAN pass on any unused time to someone else. I usually stick it on the meter when I'm leaving. This will not immediately benefit you but if we all pass this info on we can go someway to stopping these extortionate profits from hospitals for example. My local hospital charges £1.70 for six hours. You cannot pay less.
