Morning All
My 8 year old, Eddie, is a member of a local Swimming Club. His friend and fellow swimmer, Sarshern Chetty has been diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour and all the kids at the club want to support him by holding a Midnight Sponsored Swim on Friday 13 April form 7pm till 7am.
Eddies young group will kick of the swim and are aiming to swim 27 x 100m in and hour.
All proceeds will go towards supporting Sarshern, Naomi House Childrens Hospice and CLIC.
If you can help Eddie help support his mate by sponsoring this swim please pm me and I'll send you details.
Thanks for taking the time to read this post.

Karen ;D Hi all Thought I'd better post this now due to current circumstances on this site! Eddie and myself Just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone who sponsored Eddie. He swam 26 lengths in half an hour and managed to raise a great total of £121 with the help of many of you on this site. The current grand total is £1490 but money is still pouring in! ;D The club have so far bought an automatic scooter for Sarshern and donated £500 towards a stairlift. There are now 3 trophies in his name and the rest of the donations will be shared between Naomi House Hospice and CLIC. Once again, many many thanks for all your contibutions enabling Eddie to help his friend. Motters, this site really does help in a variety of ways. K ;D
