Good Morning Victor or should I say Pri? ! We can all do this playground bully act you know but I don't really want to lower myself to your level! Don't you remember what happened on this site back in November when the name calling started! Why do you have to resort to name calling just because some agency choose to work the Hillarys way and have a successful business? Strikes a bit of "he who doest protest too much" to me! Karen ;D

Hand on forehead I've only sold 1 roller for £73 today and our delivery has been cocked up. Lots of blinds missing and customers unhappy cos can't fit today as promised! I've ripped my toenail off and have to wear sandals in this blinking cold weather, so I'll probably end up with frostbite, and have to put up with smelly dogs and grotty kids stamping all over it and my samples! And 2 customers daring to ask for 3 for 99 offer! Is that better for you Old Vic? K ;D

And 2 customers daring to ask for 3 for 99 offer! Is that better for you Old Vic? K ;D Unfortunately there are serious issues, (some of which have been mentioned on here) that are consistently ignored by the powers that be. The effects of this mismanagement/poor communication are plain to see, are happening right now, and will eventually catch up with Hillarys, to their detriment. Their silence on these matters is deafening! Many of us that try to express our concerns and observations (mainly in vain) in a sensible and coherent manner, would like to work with Hillarys to resolve these matters. Their initial willingness to participate in an open dialogue and formulate a response, seemed to backfire dramatically. We are all now suffering the consequences, of the now "closed door policy". Times have changed, and we are seeing an increasing number of sensible advisor's deciding to reap the benefits of their own hard work. This should be a worrying trend for Hillarys, who are losing very capable assets to their cost. These people should have been embraced, valued and rewarded for the benefit of both party's. Many are finding this value, in those that are thriving from Hillary's mismanagement. Which seems to be common knowledge in the trade and seized upon. I can understand the position of those on here whose identities are not hidden, trying to make light of these things. You will notice they are the only ones! Most are successful, which is to be congratulated, even if they delight in telling us so, just a little to much. I too consider myself successful, and would like nothing more, than for these matters to be resolved. However, time is slipping away ( along with advisors) and what is now becoming public (advisor) knowledge is also becoming sensible business awareness. Even if some on here, are unable, because of circumstances, to admit it. Hillarys is now a big machine, that seems to have lost its balance and we are expendable commodities to be crushed and dismissed at will. Instead of vital cogs, to be oiled and looked after, in a mutually beneficial business regime. The fsm's are not all to blame, they are quite often caught in the middle, don't always shoot the messenger. Remember, with knowledge and experience, comes wisdom and power. Every advisor will eventually choose one of 3 ways.

In all the years I have worked for Hillarys, I have never been so saddened to see what is happening to the advisor network. Agents falling out with each other over who does more and others doing so little they are struggling to survive. Name calling and general sarcasm towards each other. Advisors leaving in their droves and we are not talking short term here, we are talking long term served advisors who are just so disenchanted at the way Hillarys are going they saw no other way but to leave. This board was set up with good intentions by Paul Motley. It brought us all together and took away the solitude that we suffered. It was meant to enhance the life of us all so we could help each other out with information and guidance. True, some of us have a struggle to survive and do get frustrated, hence the posts on here. It beats kicking the dog. Some are doing very well, good luck to you, No one should take that away from you. Those doing well should understand these posts are out of frustration and those not doing so well should not be having a go at the ones that are. Why are some of you battling each other?
We are supposed to be professional sales people. Imagine what all this looks like from other people’s point of view. Lots of advisors do not post any more. The official site has not taken over from this one as far as I can see. So come on you guys. Hillarys may be a big money making machine that does not care how well or how bad you are doing as an individual, but we can at least work together to make this board freindly if nothing else.

Well said Red and Dibsdobs both valid points .We are all sailing in the same boat some I know sail in two at the same time but we are all here for the same reason.Yes we go on about our success but we have to praise ourselves as when is the last time any of us were praised by their FSM not that often.
I fall into the BROWNNOSERS category but am proud to be thought of that way because it means im successful.VICTOR MELDREW however falls into the Mr average, unachiever ,jealous dept probably bullied at school also prob ally a bit on the short side who snipes from cover but more importantly.................................has NEVER contributed anything constructive or positive to this forum ,dont take my word for it read its posts.
We will all fall out from time to time but get us in a room together and almost all of us would get on, theres truth in the statement that those of us who are upfront about who we are are mainly positive posters .on the other side the hidden ones are mainly negative and in some cases I cant blame them for fear of reprisals .I think the real truth lies in the middle of the two but the forum is still the best thing to happen for a long time.
ps I pmed gp direct yesterday re his departure so have not ignored him.

K ;D Maybe i was being a little sarcastic with the above post but I do get fed up with some advisors taking a pop at me when I post positive comments. All the above did happen to me today and negative things happen on a regular basis (apart from my toenail ripping off........will only ever do that once!!!) I also wasted over half an hour today trying to chase up missing blinds. This also happens often but I just don't continue to complain about them on here. I make a decent living with Hillarys working a flexible job with the hours I choose. The postive's far outway the negative's for me, so I choose to remain optimistic about my work and post positively on here. If I acted like I'd typed above every day I'd never get out of bed and sell ought!!! And I would have left Hillarys years ago! ;D K ;D

I agree with your responses dibsdobs, Red and Russell and any like minded colleagues as indeed we are all in this together and I also think this is an excellent forum for whatever and whatever happens on it, of which most is really friendly banter and mostly light hearted, no agency should ever feel they cannot communicate through it, everyone should just get involved with the discussions that go on and if some get too close to the bone then perhaps reply with a tearfull smiley on it's own as a note to say 'hey that upset me' However, let's not make all this look too sad about the banter going on but rather it also be seen as healthy communication we are all human and have emotions which sometimes run away but in life things all come out in the wash and everyting gets sorted out.
And I agree with Russell's comments that if we we're all face to face in a pub or meeting room we would all in fact all get on, this type or forum is not conducive to natural conversation but is more emotive cos we are not face to face so are detatched to each others real feelings.
Like others I too have had my doubts and ups and down about whether I've made the right choice this is only a natural and is human nature however, I have changed a few things in the way I work which have had a possitive impact and appointments have been good recently it may or may not last, but have I complained once when times have been difficult, no I've just got on with it in the best way I can, I know it's not always easy to be positive but it certainly helps.
So let's all keep our chins up no matter what or where we work or what we do cos in the end we will always support each other.
All the best and have a good weekend - Noggins

Its always good to see positive and supportive comments on here. Lets face it anythings better than what VICTOR MELDREW brings to the table. But the problem is people declare a truce only to go back to being negative towards everything and everyone a few days later. No matter what your gripe is there is one thing we should all agree on and that is - it is not your fellow members or this forums fault if you are frustrated or angry with the job so point your weapons in another direction and grow up. Have a pop at Hillarys all you like.

trouble is that as soon as a moaner has a bad day he needs to blame someone other than himself, and moaners have lots of bad days. some people just need to accept that the worlds moved on and they havent.
perhaps victor is really a frustrated failed actor trying to act out his hero on here

Victor will be Victor if he lacks any positivity and only he can make a difference, my suggestion is simply discuss any issues with FSM and perhaps try a different approach, you never know it may work, go on...try it. But I bet you're not all that 'umpy really RU? Lifes' complicated enough!!! ;D come on
