Has anyone had a measuring stick come to the end of its useful life?
I have used mine for a few years and think it's a great tool to speed up measuring but it has started to sound a bit gritty inside and I don't want to risk being without it for too long.
From experience out there - is it time for a new one? - I dont want it to fail before I get a new one AND I don't want its measurements to become unreliable either.

I think you should come clean and give us some indication of who you are.
From what we have been told you are not Motters, so why pretend to be?
