Hi all. Anyone recently been to a newly built house with a new velux code GGU CO2 these are not listed on the spec page so can we do them? Or just order as non velux? Secondly fitted a roller some time ago in another velux and the fabric never lies flat when the blind is down. All the room windows were shut so it removes a possible draft explanation, but it has a wavy effect down one side. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Dolly, I have untold problems with these , especially if the fabric is black out . There is NO CURE ! On one occassion i was forced by customer to D/O/R replacement 5 times - yes 5 times ! And then she got her money back . Only small width Velux (easi-stop or sky light) are suitable , the wider ones will always have the problem you have mentioned . Like spring loaded roller blinds , i do not sell into Velux now - UNLESS its a roof pleated ! As you experience certain crappy products from hillarys , it is best to remove the samples permanently from the presenters , or be quite honest with the customers and point out the failings!
