Possible DOR (wood ven)

Hi all,

Have just fitted 9 wood ven. thank god nothing major wrong with them and customer very happy, Then I get a phone call saying that they are not locking of correctly when pulled up, have bought myself a few days by saying the mechanism will loosen up after constant use.

Do not want to DOR any of these blinds, (5 are at same window, 3 at another)so if my suggestion does not work have any of you got any ideas on what prob would be.

did you notice that they now look just like the ones you could buy at ikea ?

also the one I had today had holes for the cords etc in both ends of the headrail ?

The brackets are much harder to close ( need both hands ) and are too big for the headrail so it wobbles around in it.

I also noticed that it was short on the width and drop to what I asked for even though the valance fitted nicely !

Not a great start - oh yes and they are still being far too skimpy on velco ( 3 bits in half for a 6 ft blind ) .
