Red and others Yes sorry there was a problem with the registration emails, I think this should now be fixed and all the ones I am aware of that had a problem, should by now have an email from me directly with the login passwords. If you haven't got this yet, you can either PM me, or use the 'Forgot password' feature on the site. Sorry for the probls, but as I said I really wanted a small test before going public like this, but anyhow its done now, and it seem to be working (apart from that glitch) Cheers Richard Richard. I have had a look at the site and it seems it may have some merits for a lot of advisors. I myself use my own data base which I input all leads and sales at the end of the day. Takes me 10 mins. It gives me mileage charts, postal code charts for where I do my most sales. Monthly figures, yearly figures, and a whole load of other things. It is highly accurate and can give me any customer info in seconds. Strangely it never agrees with Hillary's figures but then I know it is accurate as I designed it and I put the info in. I know what i have done from one year to the next and monthly and even daily if I need to. So I may not have need for the site you are offering at present but I am sure a lot of advisor's will. What I would have liked to have seen is all calls on SAM sent to this site and automatically entered in as hours worked and total mileage so for instance your database would receive from head office info that I will be going out to 6 calls in area A of which I have assigned a mileage of 6 miles per lead and 3 calls to area B with a mileage of say 10 miles per lead, giving me a total of 66 miles on that particular day. No other details would be needed to be sent from H Office. A tall order I know but it could be done with cooperation from Hillary's. This would limit the amount of info needed to be input at the end of the day. Worth thinking about as I would definitely subscribe to something like that if it meant me not having to input data everyday and lets not forget, we are talking about data that can be manipulated to do what ever we need or want. Oh if only. ;D Red Hi RED, Just to make our PM chat public, thanks for the feedback, it is valuable, and yes you are right, the site will offer a lot more in the future, along the lines of the system you outline, and I already have a method of taking in the diary information used by SAM, but that is in testing and development stage. I hope to release it for you all in time. I am also waiting to see what the Hillary's site will offer, as I don't want to duplicate functionality features or admin work, as this is the very point of my site, to help reduce our admin overhead as a whole. Cheers Richard

Well spotted and I do have to fess up, as I said in earlier posts I had to jump out of the closet on this one (so to speak) as this thread was started, but I have been an infrequent contributor to this site since the beginning of this year under another 'Anonymous' user name. If you take my IT backiground into account, it shouldn't be too difficult to find my closet ID As you may have noted my site is not in any way competition to this site, it is complementary, and also there is link from my site to this one. PM me if its an issue Cheers Richard euroweb See PM is not working for you then ? Was it really that easy? oh yes as a Moderator you have special powers .. Well if it gives me any credibility here with you old cynics then so be it. . . . Yes its me . . . . www.SAMAdvisor.co.uk

Further to what has been happening on here, is it not great news that constructive things are now being brought up on this Forum in a positive sense.?
What a smack in the face for Colwick to see that a site they assumed was a load of old whingers is now producing positive efforts to manage statistics of agent performance and efficiency, as opposed to the inaccurate lying cr*p we have been getting as "Staistics" and "Personal Management Guff" which has been so ludicrously wrong for years and years.
I have an average order last month of £489 with a lead conversion of 17%!!!!!!!! on top of no sales whatsoever last June!!! but strangely in June my conversion rate was 71% with an average order of £117??
EVERY ONE OF THOSE FIGURES CAME FROM COLWICK AND ALL ARE WILDLY WRONG!!!
Keep up the good positive feeds folks, maybe we can show the buggaires how to run a blind business yet!!
STILL very happy Blindsfitter---HERETICUS , dont be sceptical. I am a changed man since chats with a few of the "enlightened ones" on here, and I am grateful for it. October was my best month, overall this year...
( From now on thngs like RossK and Stolen Commission are sad things in the past--I have replaced my Stolen Commission many times over, and Hillarys are stuck with RossK--To me , that makes me a double winner and Hillarys two-times losers.!!!)
Oh Happy Days

I've been away for a few days in Malta and notice the huge uplift in positivism on this Site as I read throught the "last 50" Great stuff.!!!
Blindsfitter, nice to see you mainatining the positive line. May I add here , purely for the avoidance of doubt that you did mention that I jokingly threatened you with a rivet gun if you did not change your ways and quit ranting. Wrong!
What I did in fact threaten you with was an industrial high-speed nail gun, used for securing partitioning and ceiling boards. I find it far more effective than the effeminate rivet gun which is only used by "girls" in the Guards Regiments for dubious practices. That said, I too applaud the good common sense on here.. Long may it carry on!!! Is there anything worse than landing in fog at 3 degrees at 10.00pm at night when you left Malta at 6.00pm ish at 23 degrees and sun?? Comments please??

I have been told by my FSM that people on here who just moan and moan should just go away and do something else for a living or similar shorter words to the same effect so I know this site is visited by HO staff occasionally to see what we are up to. Checking the email address was initially an idea to stop jokers from creating dummy accounts, but the method I tried to use worked for me, but it didn't work for some of the initial sign-ups, I take it you do know that agents can be contacted as agent.xxxxxx@hillarys.co.uk I was using that, but as I said it does not seem to work for all agents, so I have dropped it. Anyhow all I'm trying to do is help, but some just like to pick holes in it and be critical, cant please all the people all the time I guess. Regards Richard

As a former ranter and raver I applaud your efforts, and I see you confirm my earlier posting about FSM's laughing this site off as full of "has beens".. No we are not, we care dearly for a business and a firm which was once great and still is worth resuscitating despite the efforts of those who seek to feast off a carcase which they killed themselves. All we have to do now is become a genuine group for the good of all and in doing so thingy the most Enormous Snook at Colwick--for it is they ...etc etc... I mjst not rant, I must not rant...... Go for it Presley, sod the doubters Bear
