Received the 3 October update for Wooden Venetians
If you haven't received it yet, basically wood changed to one type (basswood), 10 colours available in all 3 slate widths and says prices will be reduced on average by 30%.
All looks good to me, whilst I personally don't like to see the prices going down I have found we are overpriced on these. It's also nice to read in the launch info that head office accepts there have been problems - "unacceptable quality problems some of you experienced". Well done for whoever was brave enough to put it in writing, sometimes it's not that we have problems with manufacturing quality that upsets us it's the attitude of not admitting it and treating us as whingers. Is it a first for Hillarys to admit a problem ?? (I've only been here a year and first time I've heard it, always thought everything was my fault !)
Out of interest been supplied with samples of all sizes in all colours but some colours are very different in each size even though same type of wood now. I appreciate wood isn't consistent in colour, grain etc but the alpine natural in my samples looks total different in each size ! Not complaining but would be interested to know why.
As per my posting regarding the new Roman range I must say well done Hillarys AGAIN. Keep on improving our product offering and our quality and then we won't need to do these unprofitable and waste of time cheap deals, we'll just get loads of leads from recommendations.

re the new prices for wood venetians.
Did a quote on 14 wood venetians at £3500, customer wanted our blinds but had had a quote for £2400 for same windows from another company. Went back on Mon 3rd Oct and same blinds were now £2553 customer really happy with new price and went ahead with the order. New prices work for me.
