Yes I have had that problem to, I think this happens when we do a top fix and the top of reveal is bowed which in turn causes top slat to buckle. I think this is right, but it sounds good anyway Glen

I have fixed the top slat bucking by moving the small plastic clips which hold the ladder cord on the top slat. I ease them from side to side and this eases preasure on the slat and in most cases dose the job. Hope this helps All the best Tony..

I've gone from top fix to face fix with the one I'm having trouble with as the revile was so out it was unreal. !
Still I've got yet another trip out to see the customer with a 'new' blind. When I looked at another one it seemed that the top slate was closer to the headrail on these ones I'm having the trouble with.

The problem is caused by out of true lintels, this causes stress on the toprail giving the buckling effect. This is cured by moving or even omitting brackets thus keeping the top rail in line

reveals do cause a lot of the problem but the other week fitted out a conservatory with venetians and the one on the door was not hanging properly the top slat was closer to the rail on one side

I've never had a problem as described until I read this thread then next venetian (over3m) there was the problem. Moved the plastic clips to no effect, reduced number of brackets (5 to 4) and a lot better but not right.
