I've just received my samples & book for these. I was looking forward to them actually. That was until I opened the box!!!! What a pile of SH1TE these are!!!!! The fabric feels like used Kleenex tissues!!! The colours are washed out!! The mechanism won't last 5 minutes!!!!! Where did they get them made? ... Toy Town? Is this going to be another 'own goal' for Sillarys? Remember Woodweave?

Never mind the blinds, just try getting a sample back in the book without screwing it up and creasing it.
The book itself will have a shelf life of about 30 seconds in a Hillarys kitbag before its history. Samples have gone straight in the bin - did not pass go, did not collect £200, staying in jail!

I sold loads of these, especially in conservatories. They had everything I liked about a blind, they were very expensive and quick and easy to fit ;D. All you had to do was hold one up against a 25mm pleated, and I sold Duettes 90% of the time. When they were discontinued I was told it was because myself and a guy in London accounted for over 40% of all Hillarys sales, everyone else thought they were too expensive. How do prices compare with 20mm freehang?

This is just another product that Silliards miss the 'mark' with.
There are so many good products out there that we don't see with Hillbillys.
Every man & his dog offer Verts & Rollers ... we can't seem to offer the real difference here any more.
I've become aware of so many alternatives to the norm in the past week.
Why can't Sillards keep up with the times?
I've had 2 customers today who would have been better suited to alternatives other than what I can currently offer.
With the increase in glass roofs for conservatories for example a better solution needs to be available.
Honeycomb blinds won't help with the roof problem.

Duette blinds when they said they where releasing a new blind I thought we had sold something similar many years ago. How can we advertise them as new.
