Saw my new FSM briefly yesterday - not a proper meeting, he was just passing through and stopped off for a quick pint - and I posed him a simple question in maths......''I only had two leads today and one was a quote, so how many orders have I taken ?''
Quick as a flash he answered 'Four' !
He was bang on - one converted lead, two self generated sales, and one old quote converted. No flies on him, then...!
Try it on your FSM sometime. If he/she answers 'one' perhaps they lack imagination and ambition, if the answer is more than 'five' they lack any sense of realism, and if they take too long to come up with an answer (thinking about the trick question) they are far too calculating and perhaps should be viewed with suspicion. Reach your own conclusions, but I found it quite an insight as well as a bit of fun.
