I'm fed up with the big push on sales before the end of the f/year this is being done with just hillarys in mind not us guys and girls on the front line only being armed with 3499 and the like. from now on for the rest of the week all sales will be put through on sunday ( see what that does for their figures) as I have said I'm fed up to the back teeth with this one way street.
If we all did something like this it may send them the right message that we are together in our dissatisfaction with the way things are being run.

I think you will find that the pressure is off now, because only invoiced goods count towards the year's financial figures. Haven't you noticed how quickly blinds have been arriving - sometimes only four days from order date - which shows that the factory have been working overtime to get blinds made and invoiced. So any sales during the next couple of days will count towards sales targets but will mostly not be made and invoiced in time to affect end of year financial figures. And just watch delivery times extend again as they revert to normal working rather than piling on the overtime.

I heard today from a reliable HQ source that they had been working Sundays to get stuff out quickly.
Bit pointless as we are all sitting at home waiting for the deluge of sales apps and putting off fittings as requested this week, so nothing will get fitted anyway.

Fittings of no concern to them as it's the production of the invoice not payment that counts towards turnover.
I've worked for other companies with the same attitude and as I was sales director I had to push my guys to do the same. I've always argued it's waste of time and money because you only get the increase the first year because your taking it out of the following year so at the end of that year you have to do the same just to replace what you took from the previous year.

Received today an email from FSM asking everyone to get their orders and quotes in ASAP. He also states that " having spoken to several customers himself many of you have not sent their orders in." Now he is either talking utter poop or they are going behind our backs.
