I feel like I'm banging my head against a brick wall or something just as thick called Hillary's. talk to fsm about how crap the 3/99 is and they say its only a tool to get you in the door, so why is it that the call centre on answering the calls are telling customers to make sure to check out the fantastic 3/99 offers or in their words "make sure he shows you them because the salesmen are a bit forgetful" TOO right I'M FORGETFUL its some thing I show them as a last resort when everything else has been rejected not when I've just walked through the bloody door. and they say this is a £100+million company what a joke.
not so long ago we all had calls on what we could do to get more calls? yesterday I checked out web-blinds only to find they are promoting picture blinds using either the company's or the customers own pictures.this is a very good idea so why is it not available to the rest of us mere mortals to sell? this is the kind of thing to put us back at the top instead of the crap 3/99. In fact the chav customers who go for 3/99 may go for this product even more if they can have the whole family done at the same time including the obligatory staffy and the snotty-nosed kids. we could have a prize for the most people that we could get on one blind ;D

I have just come home from yet another crap afternoon of people asking me for the whole house in 3 for 99 and 2 not ins on scummy council estates. I am suspending my diary until after my August holiday and then if it continues after that I will not be staying. I have reached the end of my patience now and will get more fromfamily tax than I am earning now with Hillarys. Red

if it wasnt for awnings roofs and the prospect of me selling loads of shutters i would be off its so quiet at the moment im even going over the sea to southampton one day this week ! i dont know how some of the non specialists cope

Russell......couldn't agree with you more. My leads have been pathetic for months (maybe six or eight a week) and the only thing keeping me above water is that the leads I do get are leading to high value orders for awnings, roof blinds, and the ocassional shutter, and that I get a good share of self generated business.
Without specialist products I would have been dead in the water years ago. Luckily I don't have stupid offers like 3/99 or 4/129 in this area so my quality of leads is quite good, but the quantity is appalling. So I'm reasonably OK through the summer months but will suffer again in the winter - bring on global warming so I can sell roof blinds and awnings all year round.

Hi there fellow sufferers, not sure if this is the right place to post this but just for my satisfaction has any other agent managed 27 years continuous service with Hillarys??? And yes I am bloody fed up the same as everyone else and yes I am making positive steps to get away from the pressure and the torment that this employment now produces

Not many people will beat 27 years, but it is all down hill from now on.
No leads at all for tomorrow!, guess my thingy (fsm) will phone up soon asking for extra availability, on your bike pal and l hope you fall off.

First thing you point out is that, by law, schools have to use fire retardant fabric, so a bog standard fabric is not possible ! If they think they can get away with it, ask for a letter from the Governors to confirm that the decision is their responsibility.
Perhaps you can do a deal with the caretaker - work him out a special discount, get him to go round and check the measurements with you so that he is happy, and then do the deal on a supply only basis - he fits ! Then the discounted commission is still acceptable because you're not doing the work.
