Just to end the weeks note. another 6 sale appointments today and not one sale, 3 not ins, 2 3 for 99ers and 1 quote so out of 13 appointments only one sale. My sale to quote was never this bad when I ran it myself.
Is any body else finding sales to quote abysmally low now or is it JUST ME.

I seem to be the exception here, I get about 20% of my quotes converted by QD as opposed to about 5% that I convert myself

Don't wish to rub it in, but my winning streak is continuing. Month to date, 32 orders from 46 leads, plus 11 self gen gives me 93% conversion and a lead effect of £542
Have to admit, I'm going through one of my most successful periods ever, and I think last Sunday was the most I've ever taken in 1 day. So it's not doom and gloom everywhere.

My FSM askes me to increase my units per three hour slot by 2 (to 10 from8 etc) this has allowed a 6 slot in without affecting number of appointments i could attend in a day. It also seems to have halfed the ever increasing lead times as i believe i am now the only conservatory advisor in my area.

As a new member at this forum for only a week. Is there a planned follow up forum for those advisers who attended earlier in the year, because reading daily everyones messages and current problems, there seems to be a need for urgent change in Hillarys priorities. Suddenly struggling to get spares etc slips down the list if you see what i mean.

I've done similar, but all it's doing is bastardising a system that's wrong. Surely it's better to get the system right. The 6 slot lead wasn't a bad idea, it just needs tweaking. 6 slots for conservatory roofs, 4 slots for sides. It ain't rocket science, but there seems to be a philosophy of "we've done it, we ain't going back, cos it would be like admitting we didn't get it right".
All new ideas should be re-evaluated after a trial period, not left regardless

3-4 slots may be ok for some but I am covering 13 post code areas now & the six slots is only just giving me time to get from one end of area to other as they don't seem able to coordinate leads at Nottingham for post code areas, if I use it I get nothing if I open up I am from one end to the other. Just can't win. Got 3 calls tonight all diff post codes for 6-9. & one wanted 7 blinds on equivelent to 4 for 129 pro rata & when quoted 226 still wanted to wait to see a competitor tommorow who is a donkey-cheap, crap job & just been done by BSI for using a BS code for welding in his advert! May be colour of skin! Beginning to forget what we have in normal range!!!!!!!
Anyone else getting naffed off by HO running out of promotional material too-see vellum vens now out of stock so have 2 big orders on hold. Thought this great wonderful computer system was supposed to keep up with stock levels?

in response to Monerpenny, yes we have. We are 250K pa agents of 6 years standing. we cover 40 leads from Hillarys, plus our own per week and still they want more!!! Paul Stothard (whom I find to be generally excellent by the way) basically said that if we did not give them more time it would seriously affect our working relationship in the future, i.e. with Hillarys. I found that sinister enough to visit this website for the first time and post a log!!
