Joy...wasn't the parachute jump supposed to take place at the weekend ? How did it go, or was it postponed because of the high wind.
Do tell, because I still need to send you the promised fiver sponsorship money and I'll bet I'm not the only one who hasn't coughed up yet.

We got there at about 11am (an army base in Cirencester), and waited... and waited ...and waited.... until we were all sent home at 6.45pm! First too windy, and then too cloudy. It has now been postponed until June 26th..... so all that stress again! Still.. time for more sponsors.. lol ..

Some of you may remember in the dim and distant past, that I approached Hillarys to sponsor my 2 daughters in a cancer charity sponsored parachute jump. I even suggested they could wear Hillarys T-shirts, and I would get a photo in our local paper.
Hillarys declined......
Some of you advisors kindly sent cheques and pledged money.....
well.... on the third attempt last Sunday, they both successfully jumped, and landed in one peice!! (First attempt - weather too bad. Second attempt - photographers were ill (England playing!)
They raised just under £1000 between them...... so thanks to all who supported them. Just a pity Hillarys wouldn't!!
Their best friend, who suffers from Lymphoma,( in remission at the moment thank God) was also there to watch and cheer them on..... ;D

Well done girls
