I have been browsing through the site today to try and find out the email address of the commissions department as I have several unpaid invoices dating back months..I have tried phoning several times but just get the the answer phone...I keep leaving messages but get no reply...From reading other peoples posts, I see that many other agents are having similar problems..Could anyone tell me the email address of the commissions department?... I probably will still get no reply from an email but you never know....we can only live in hope....It would be a good idea if all the various departments email addresses were posted somewhere on this forum to make communication a little easier for everyone. ____________________________________________ Reply... here's the most asked for email address. Dawn.Morris@Hillarys.co.uk PS I have just chased 2 of mine from December. It turned out that the final payment was showing as not having been made, although I sent them on SAM as a credit card payment.

Sadly, emailing Commissions is not the solution to ensure that missed balances are paid out on. I now have several balances paid on SAM still showing as outstanding on my summary sheet from Credit Control, and when you speak to Credit Control and question them about accuracy the teddy goes flying out of the pram at high speed. ""If it was paid on SAM--AND YOU DID IT RIGHT-- then it was paid --otherwise it never happened."" The best I can do is requote the authorisation no to them, but that sends the golliwog flying out in pursuit of teddy!!!"" Oh dear a whole new can of worms I fear. Nonails

HI Re balances paid on Sam, this again seams to be a case of them getting the cash quicker into there a/c, but have a very poor system of crediting ours a/c with said payment, and we even pay for the privilege, Then we have to prove it when it fails, what your all missing is That you can still write the credit details on the invoice, if everybody did this, there would quick to ask why, this maybe one thing there would Rectified sooner rather than later.

I have never taken balances on sam, still get paid on a monday like always have, sounds like sam delays commission payments not speed them up.
Sometimes when more than one invoice is produced for an order, only one invoice carries the desired fit date, commission cannot be paid on the second invoice because there is no fit date. Just another excuse to hold onto our money for longer.

As one who suffered at the hands of Credit Control Cut off without trial.
No Negotiation.
What we say is right etc.
Pay what we say or you out.
I am glad to read others perhaps more respected in the organization are having problems,
I just wonder was the lid blown at the advisors Forum meetings.
I am convinced Hillarys bank on advisors bein f so busy running diffrent lives, that they wont notice.
Also if they do we just find another agent.
Yes there is a problem it needs sorting tommorow
Hillarys should stop trading and not start until it is soprted.
Oh no that way we all suffer.
Hillarys on STOP.

Ah Ha !!!! so more of you are noticing the new Hillary "Think". Due to my info, I am not taking balances on SAM from tomorrow. NINE SAM paid balances outstanding for 3+ weeks on my account now.. Majority are where 2 invoices paid ( and noted in the box on SAM) but at most one and usually NONE paid out by Commissions. We are in danger of having 19 yr old office girls putting us on Commission stop, because it might even be the wrong day in the month.!!!!! ( Power to the spotty ones?) Sorry about that but it is true. Clerks have been given absolute power by Finance supremo to put on STOP any Agent with a debt level which breaches the clerks individual maximum total outstanding at any given date. THIS regardless of whether there is a customer dispute, or theyve bugg***d off, or refuse or are now in hands of debt collector. If the total you sold is above an undisclosed level, your whole account goes on stop until it improves. ? NO NEGOTIATION....... Best you go round and thug the money out of late punters yourself---who is going to react to some whining clerk from Colwick. SECONDLY---- The FSM making clueless remarks regarding this site and "alleged factory errors being all down to mismeasures"was basing his outburst on a circulated HO memo, which has strangely made its way to a couple of Agents. Strange that , isn't it?? Bear ( the one who knows more than it is sensible to post here!!)

1. Try faxing Dawn on 0115 961 4176 - always gets answered ( sometimes takes a day or two ). Don't bother even trying to speak to anyone else .... ****** 2. I NEVER take balances on SAM!!! following my first few doing so I found non - payments of commission running at around 30%. ....SO NO THANKS!!!! Post all your invoices off 1st Class on Tuesday & get paid on the 2nd Monday after that. Address it all to 'Sales Ledger Department' !!!!!!!!!!!! 3. Have you noticed sometimes that Hillarys appear to hold back on payments due e.g. Maximum of £300 one week or No commissions over £200 per order the next? ? This is another sign of 'cash flow' problems for them. 4. Take a few cash balances & hold them back for a few weeks. I know a lot of Advisors do this!!! Don't spend it but as you collect more cash balances you pay the oldest balance off first therefore keeping cash in reserve. Keep back the equivalent to the commission outstanding to you. This is particularly important should Hillarys go into receivership. We will be the first to suffer with non-payment should this happen. Many company's do this so why not us? The more Hillarys 'scream & stamp' wanting their own way with regard to the money or the more difficult they try to be, the more we can hold back if required! Once you are up to date with your commissions then you can settle off any remaining balances. I'm sure this will make for a few comments now!!!!!

Yep - have to agree here , i usually keep a cash reserve on the go , just as indicated here . Its realistic and gives some support when things go wrong money wise ! 4. I take every payment possible on SAM, mainly because I'm too lazy to mess about with cheques and cash. My commission statement, printed on the 16th and being paid in to my account on the 20th, includes 3 jobs I fitted on Monday 13th.

I also do everything through SAM and don't have any problems. Since using SAM my payments have been quicker. Maybe those having problems are not using SAM as it is meant to be used and therefore are creating problems unnecasserily.

I made 2 credit card final balance payments on my SAM in December (correctly), which did not show up for some reason. They are now showing on my account statement as arrears, and I am still waiting for the commission. I love SAM... but mistakes do seen to happen with it. Like when it accepts an order for out of stock fabric (Night Sky for instance)

Are you totally sure that you have been paid for all fitting to the full amount. I keep a good database of all customers and payments and I have just rang in 4 of them that were only paid on 1 part of a 2 part invoice. This is not a sam error but a input error, so you need to keep a very close eye on it. Hillary's, as far as I am aware are not in financial difficulty and holding back commissions. It is not done purposely. Red

I use SAM for payments all the time and generally no problems. When there is a problem I've emailed Dawn and she's sorted it within a few days or told me who to speak to.
As mentioned watch out for more than one invoice on an order they do seem to be missed sometimes. I don't mind the odd mistake as long as they sort them out quickly.
Be nice to Dawn she is the last person we want to lose at Head Office.

I must agree .... we need to stress this to everyone!!!!
Dawn is 'Golden' ... don't upset her at any cost. Everyone else in the Accounts Department appear to be either 'Rude' or 'Brain dead & Rude'!!!!!!
VIVA!!!! .... Dawn in Commissions!!!!!
