Just have to share my frustration today - you all get the same sort of day sometimes, probably quite often, but it won't do any harm for head office staff visiting this site to get a feel for what we put up with :
- first appointment, only sales lead of the day, turns out to be a service call for a roller blind which is at least 15 years old and was not made by Hillarys anyway !
- second appointment, fitted one vertical, no problem
- third appointment (fit) - customer no show despite having confirmed by phone yesterday evening
- fourth appointment - fit booked and confirmed, go to my lock up to find that the blind was not there, had not been delivered as promised on my tracking report, had to cancel and rearrange
- fifth appointment, fitted one vertical, no problem but business customer so will no doubt wait 6 weeks before payment / commission.
- sixth appointment, fitted one vertical, DOR - lazy carrier, so unable to complete or take payment.
- last appointment, fitted two verticals, sweet as...
A poor day anyway because only seven appointments, maximum four hours work even if I took it slowly, but turns out to be a totally crap day...why did I get out of bed ?
