Great - let's start this trend going. Farmer, welcome into the open but go all the way and add your details to your profile. Joy (twenty one again soon, nice photo), why not add your agency name to your profile as well.
A few more out there whose identity has never been a secret so why not state it openly - a challenge to Phugly, Russell, and a few others, either to come out or to complete your information.
Gloryboy (and a few more) - I know who you are so why not let everybody in on the secret.
Seriously - we have come a long way in a few months, the company have taken note and want to hear what we have to say, John Risman himself has gone into writing and stated that our input is important and that they will respond fast and effectively to the issues raised, so wouldn't it add more weight and credibility to our arguments if more of us stopped hiding ?
I appreciate that there are a few (Grumperbear) who feel that they would actually have something to fear, and I totally respect their position, but for most of us that isn't the case.

I will certainly refrain from posting my personal details on here until I feel comfortable in doing so. I have been with Hillarys for 11 years as a part timer and the fact I feel uncomfortable in 'coming out' is a sad reflection on the current hierarchy and how they have treated us, certainly since Tony Hillary sold out.
I personally have had no serious problems with my FSM, however I tend to be self sufficient and have virtually no contact with him, but I have heard enough horror stories on this board about threats and bully boy tactics to make me think twice about being too open.
I truly hope that the recent meetings will prove to be a watershed and that we can look forward to a much more co-operative relationship with our management, and for them to recognise that we are the driving force of the company without whom they have no business.
Many thanks to the advisors who have been so active on this board and those who represented us at the 2 meetings, I look forward to hearing the detailed proposals and, more so, to some positive action rather than just talk.

Stop this 'coming out' nonsense immediately everyone!!!!! Nothing good will come of this type of pressure & will alienate everyone against each other.
Feel Free to tell the world who you are if that is what you want ... but for 'Gods Sake' don't put pressure on people who are comfortable doing what they already do.
I for one would rather with-draw my support from this Site & its fantastic opportunity to voice
our opinions than be put in this situation.
I agree with those that say it is safer for now to keep anonymous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OK - I get the message on this, very mixed feelings.
There is certainly no pressure on anybody and I totally respect the feelings of those who wish to remain anonymous, but I do feel that the more open and honest we are as a group, then the more receptive the company will be to our comments.
So thanks to those of you who choose to come out, no problem with those who don't, and no pressure on anybody - just a suggestion which I personally believe would help our cause.

Doesn't all this 'coming out nonsense' just demonstrate one of the biggest problems between us Advisors and them management. Basically we don't trust them. Some of us remember the finger pointing and big stick beatings that went on after the 'confidential' advisor survey a few years ago. Those with such scars will take a lot persuading to reveal true identities. Best leave them anon but contributing rather than loose their input totally.

You see one of the great military strategies is to "know your enemy"--"do the "hearts & minds thing" etc etc Why, until we see oodles of goodwill and positive action, and more importantly the withdrawl of bullying and threats, should we reveal ourslves for a --up to now-- NIL return?  ? I will reveal in my own good time, When I do not get dumped 2 appointments ona booked free night. When I get paid commission on a Credit deal sold 7 months ago and paid to Hillarys 5 months ago. When I get paid in full for jobs I fitted and paid the balance over on but was hit by 20% reduction given by Hillarys because they c****d up on pre Xmas promises. That'll do for now!! ???derrrr heriticus ???ive always been out russell as in advisor russell ???have not hid behind a weird name ;)iow is also on post ;D perhaps my bank details and blood group would surfice  i dont agree with anybody "coming out " if they dont feel its in their best interests trust is earnt the advisors such as myself that attended the forums can see the companys efforts to listen but the ones that didnt attend only have our word and should come round in their own time anyway mark oaten came out and look what happened to him  |

with regard to reading and leeds meetings had a email from rossk yesterday saying that the feedback was being collated and being presented to the board and a report sent to the forum reps in due course so watch this space sounds good to me glad the leeds lot also feel positive is good for us all ;D

I know we will get to know about this report on board meeting thru forum BUT why is report not being sent to all who work for Hillary's WHY forum chosen few / and others who attended meeting. ? All in all ACTION from Hillary's speaks louder than words. Customer cancels appoint. tonight, no phone call from HO taken of diary but idiot here wasted time/petrol knocking on cust. door to find out  Glen |

I for one can not understand that on a forum such as this that it is even necessary to ask for anyone to state there REAL details ! it defeats the object entirely ! So count me out ! Agency name , email and other sensative details ... With held. ( i am advisor Portaloo - Flush me and buy one !  ) |

i agree if you want to stay anon at least if you have a bad day you can have a gripe without worrying that you may offend someone ;)me i have to kick my cats instead (only joking animal lovers) what worries me more are the invisable watchers thats quite weird
