I have had lots of Vertical headrails with loose ends. Whilst I realise that the tighter the Star washer, the tighter the turn operation, someone needs to get this part of the assembly a little better. Besides looking shoddy, there are two problems derived from this. 1. When the star washer is pushed on a little more, the star rod is then just a little too long and the end caps are pushed off, looks crap when face fixed but difficult and time consuming to cut aprox' 2mm of the star rod. 2. This slack end syndrome has also caused a return visit where the end carrier plastic link had actually hooked itself into the gap left between the metal of the headrail and the end cap, result - louvres won't draw back. I could draw it better than describe it!! Have mentioned in the past to Service Support & FSM but I don't need to continue do I !!!
