I do not like to take cash from customers , but some times it is the only way to secure an order or take a final payment.
Has any agent had problems with cash transactions going AWOL ? I have been chased for a cash deposit today , on a REFERAL order i took back in May 2005 . As you know the selling agent doesn't take a deposit ! And i my case i certainly never did ! The credit control department seem to take the customers word over ours!
would be grateful of some advice on the subject - as i have to prove (somehow) that i was Not in Reciept of any such funds!

Who ever took the cash would have signed for it. So the customer should have that signature in his paperwork.

Like most of you, I try and avoid cash. You can't always, but there must be better ways of paying it in than traipsing down to the bank or post office. Many of use home/internet banking, I'd quite happily pay by bank transfer, which would probably be quicker and cheaper for Hillarys to handle. Maybe even by personal debit card transaction using SAM end of day system.
How about this for an improvement topic for the mtgs?

I did mention in a previous post that Hillarys have unacounted cash that Advisors have banked.
The General consensus appeared to be tuff from other advisors was tough
