I've just seen the new presenter too!
Yes there are a few nice new designs & some of the old ones also.
We have lost a few really good sellers unfortunately.
But I feel that the overall selection still has not got that 'Wow factor' to them.
The selection makes me think that they will find it difficult to pair them up with the new Rollers in September or the new pleateds.

Italian Sauce Man - I have to agree with you on this one.
I was looking forward to seeing the new Vertical Presenter and they have indeed made a number of significant improvements such as simplifying the pricing, and marking the samples with their positions in the book. Some of the new fabrics are pleasant enough but some popular ones have gone and, like you, I am disappointed that there is no 'Wow Factor' - nothing spectacular either in the fabric selection or the manner of presentation. Also, why isn't there a single decent photgraph of a curved headrail - the photo with the pinks looks like a bay but it hardly shows off the curved rail to best advantage.
So, for the moment at least, I have to say that they have given us everything that they promised but nothing to inspire us. Perhaps seeing the actual price list next week will be the element that makes all the difference, but I don't see me going into customer's houses boasting about our fantastic new range - more a case of swap to the new book and carry on as normal.

Is it just me or is "Capri" fabric always seeming to be fraying at the edges lately? I remember reading somewhere that fabrics were heat sealed at the edge to prevent this. Is this another cut back or just a bad batch. The new book is OK. I'm hoping the pricing structure makes the difference. Although I can not understand why one Jacquard is considered deluxe and another not . Also how did Penang become a deluxe?

It's not just you Disdobs. I have been cutting the frayed bitsoff Capri for a couple of weeks now. The fraying seems to be onlt from the top where the fabric is folded over and heat sealed.

A quick question. I have not bought any blinds for myself yet. What is the cheapest way I can buy them from Hilarys or, should I try another supplier?

A quick question. I have not bought any blinds for myself yet. What is the cheapest way I can buy them from Hilarys or, should I try another supplier? "Web Blinds "I hear are on the web, strangely, and will supply Hillarys Blinds at a fraction of the price charged by Hillarys Agents . Why not go straight onto them now. Who wants a scruffy salesperson in their house??
