Can anyone provide any pitfalls when measuring and fitting 20mm tab pleated into the beading of conservatory windows. Advice on brackets where to measure and are there different fixing options for concave/convex and right angle beading

I want to hang some 20mm Freehang with 1.5cm clearance from the window to allow for some very shallow handles. I could use a UEB by screwing the bracket direct to the first hole but it means cutting off the front of the UEB to avoid it prodruding over the front of the blinds.
Can anyone suggest a better way please?
Many thanks

Just slip on the required number over the fixing screw (you need to use longer screws than you would normally) - once the screw is in tight it's fine and stable. I buy the washers in cheaply - a few hundred at a time from Screwfix.

You could try ordering either the 20mm roof system 'Strap' bracket that you bend to the required angle but you would need some M4 nuts & bolts ( Hillarys can supply these or you can buy them from B&Q ).
You would need to order your brackets as 'Top fix' so that they don't come as the existing F/Fix brackets.
OR
try ordering the 25mm roof system 'L' shape brackets from H/O. These use the same screws as in your UEB's. Again order your fitting brackets as Top fix ones.
You would normally be better off measuring with the UEB's in mind for most jobs so as to clear all obstructions.
Keep it simple ..... use what is easily available to you!!

Many thanks try using the appollo pleated filo anchors, with the old type wood venetian screw through the face fix bracket and the appollo. appollo's come in white or brown, (to me anyway). Bit fiddly but it does for me.

Late last year, a several people posted tips on fitting tab blinds into beading.
Anyone newly fitted based on these? It would be nice to know we've helped each other out, as well as having a good old whinge

Sanderson's also do a shaped top/bottom rail for the curved beading + they clip there pleats in place (no screws) and they are offering a 3 year guarantee, 3 year cleaning service. yes there prices are the same as ours now as well. Glen
