Advertising in my area is all going out asit should be so no need to contact HO. However leads have dropped dramatically here so something needs to be done to generate leads. If not by price then how?

'Buy one, get one free!' appears to be the 'buzz word' out there at the moment!
Perhaps a B.O.G.O.F offer could work?
We have all been taken in by these offers ourselves after all haven't we?
It should be simpler than the current offers!!
Lets say - Cheapest one is the free one without the need for the same fabric for all of them ( as we do with the '2 for' deals ).
Offers for Wooden Venetians & Pleateds could be a 'Buy one get the 2nd half price'!!!!!
This would be a lot more flexable & could work across the whole range of blind types.... even a mix & match B.O.G.O.F ( e.g. x1 vert + 1 x roller etc )
Order values may even go up!!!!!

Shouldn't that read ........ wooden venetians buy one, get another one, get another one, get a discount, get another one, get another discount. Wonderful quote from a source at H/O who shall remain anonymous "....... or be in denial like the wood venetian product manager"

advertising is the thing that is letting us down nationally its OK but locally its so insignificant in comparison with local competition.my local competitions ads are bigger brighter and with pictures. since the shops went there as been nothing to tell the public that we are still here,3 4 99 was a backward step which we know about but since then nothing out of the ordinary and this is boringly the same every week nothing to inspire.spring is just around the corner when we should start to be busy.in my opinion it needs something like localized competitions so we can beat the local competition(these were run by the shops)maybe it was wrong for Melissa to close them?( in my opinion not one of her best) maybe its time to reevaluate whether to reopen them?I bet she don't put that on her cv?
