Measuring roofs

I am always dragged out to help hold the end of the tape measure when my husband has a roof to do.... does everyone else manage on their own?

I half suspect he makes me go as my punishment for selling it in the first place.. He hates doing them!

Get your hands on a measuring stick, it pulls out to 3m and I use it to measure the roofs on my own.

I'll second that Motts. I've never been able to get assistance to do roof blinds so its always been a case of finding the easiest way to do it, the measuring stick is worth its weight in gold
