One of the points brought up at the Reading meeting was the apparent lack of communication between Service Centre and Despatch. Things don't seem to have changed much since the meeting.
Last Wednesday I recieved a message on my voicemail from Service Centre to inform me that blinds on an order had missed my van. I returned the call on Thursday morning to request that the blinds be put on a carrier in order to fit on the arranged date and this was agreed. On Monday of this week, not having recieved the blinds or having heard anything I called SC again. They told me that the carrier request had been sent to Despatch the previous Thursday and that they would get the blinds delivered on Tuesday in order to be fitted on Wednesday (today). Guess what? NO blinds. As this was a conservatory roof fit, I had booked the whole day for fitting and am now sitting wasting a day when I should have been working. Luckily for me, the customer has been very good about it and has agreed to rescheduling the fit, but this means another day out of my diary which could have been used for sales.

Despatch do exist, its just that they are a law unto themselves.

well how about this on been on me jollys come back and opened me garage to find........................yes you guessed nothing !!!!!!!!!!! i dont believe it ........ no blinds at all nothing rings FSM no reply as normal gets through to service centre after 15 mins ..... dont know she says could you please ring dispatch and ask i said nicely they dont take calls she said well what you going to do i said , she says not my problem speak to fsm ..... well nothing changed i see back to same old sh***t. Sent emails before i went about missing invoices got nothing back from them either i can see its going to be a long monday 37 messages on answer phone 8 from 1 customer wanting her blinds fitted told going on hols and will fit when i get back she forgot........ doh but problem is i aint got them whos problem is it ..................... ARHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

What do you think you were doing going away on holiday and not thinking about the life and death situation of someones blinds going in. Now you have to run twice as hard to catch up and it will feel like you never had one by Wednesday. Speak to your driver much easier and always works for me.

my driver looks like compo from last of the summer wine made loads of space for him and told him put rails under the motor if you need too he said "eye ok lad ??" .This afternoon fsm rang me to say do i want a courier i said no as it would not get to me till wednesday and they dont come with the final invoices any way so waste of time ha ! Then he sent me an e mail to say hes going on his jollys in july .........................................doh

Then he sent me an e mail to say hes going on his jollys in july .........................................doh Had a courier delivery on Fri, and invoices were attached to the box of louvres. That is the second courier delivery I have had with invoiuces. Fed from Washington. I was so surprised, the first time it happened, I sent them an e-mail thanking them for the invoices attached, and hoping it would be that way in the future. Maybe someone is listening.
