Mottors I have been searching for a free on line poll. I have found one at www.snappoll.com/index_web.phpI have tried to submit it as a posting but it is in hypertext mark up language or HTML for the more techy of us, so it will not go in like this. It has to be put on by an administrator. May I suggest you take a look and perhaps put in 10 relevant topics for all to vote on and place it on the home page. Maybe 1/ Quality 2/ Sam 3/ Area security and so on. Red.

going slightly off topic here but I agree on the parts list - it's a must. even if we could have access to a list with pictures online so no costly piles of paper to each agent new and old. also - why do we need 2 kinds for woodweave anyway P.

At the meetings - please make sure that Hillary's realise we (agents) operate independantly , we can no longer be bullied - but can be led with the right motivation !
The 'Hillarys Way' may be just great for them, but i go down 'advisor avenue ! ' , which errr suits me better!
Lets Rock!

Whoa ! Did I jump the gun ? Just seen phugly's posting, and also got an email from him direct. I got the list emailed to me in advance on Friday so that I could get the debate started on the forum. Everybody else's copy was being mailed to them but I felt sure that they had already been invited and accepted and that the list was definitive and confirmed, so apologies for the surprise. Just hope I haven't upset Ross before we even get started. Anyway, don't lets get sidetracked by an administrative blip - focus on the opportunity and keep the comments coming. "Just hope I haven't upset Ross before we even get started"---Precisely which planet have you just arrived from, Hereticus? We are not here to massage his ego, or keep him sweet or whatever. We are here to get a right and just solution from a Company of which he is he titular head, and which by its track record under his leadership has shafted us in a steadfast manner, to the point where 3 long-termers of my aquaintance have left the Company in the last 4 months. We are not here to pick fights or be rude, but if we care that we might upset someone, perhaps we should examine where we are coming from. "NoNails" is not cynical as you state, perhaps he has ben around this block and we should take his view on board, no go into this "Meeting" tugging forelocks. Bear

As one of the "Chosen" (even though I have not yet recieved my invite yet) I will put myself forward to cover item 6 on Mike's agenda If you have any thoughts on this matter then e-mail me direct so that that I can collate the information ready for the meeting in Reading. If you could start your e-mail with "forum" in the subject bar it will help me untangle your posts from my overcrowded mail box.

Just seen Bear's comments from late last night - was the irony too subtle for you !
Seriously, though, these seminars are all about clearing the air, understanding the problems and frustrations, and finding ways to improve the company / advisor relationship so we work better together and to mutual advantage.
Bear seems to think that our approach is black or white - either militant like Arthur Scargill or servile like Uriah Heep ! Personally I will be aiming for the middle ground where, whatever our differences in opinion, we can all sit around a table and discuss the issues in a civilised manner.
So come on Bear, where is your input towards these seminars ?

Russell - welcome on board, let's enjoy the ride. To get completely up to date go to the Home Page, you'll find a new section titled Advisor Feedback Seminars within which there is a thread titled Hot News, which opens with my post from Saturday morning and then all subsequent postings. About twenty minutes reading but will bring you right up to speed.
I've been informed today that there are actually two substitutions for the Reading Meeting :
Advisors Washford and Bradley have bowed out, and Advisors Russell and Ascot have come on board.
Thanks to JoYnMiK for taking on one of the agenda subjects, and everyone please keep posting on this.

Regarding DOR fines, I except that if I make a mistake I should be fined, however I object to having to pay when they make a mistake (time, petrol etc) why can't we run a monthly tally system, list out my mistakes, list out there mistakes offset mine against there's. If mine exceed there's I pay the differance, if there's exceeds mine no charge. Seems more than fair to me. Regards Bobby

I am hoping that these meetings are the first step towards getting us back to where we were two years ago in terms of pricing, quality and reputation. I feel that a lot of the members out there are the types to let the world roll by without contributing as long as their little world is safe. I hope that with the forum we can convince them that they also have a part to play in making Hillarys what it should be, they dont have to make a major contribution, just acknowledg that a little bit from everone goes a long way.
