So, you want to personalise your posts with an Avatar, that's the little picture to the left there <--------------
First you need a picture, you need to host this. Find a picture and follow this 'how to'

Next go to the top and click 'profile' then select 'Modify Profile' to the right of 'Member's Bio'. Now insert that picture link in the Avatar URL (you need the URL code from photobucket). Below that select an Avatar width and height. Put in a personal message and enter your signature, this could be your username! Then scroll right to the bottom and click 'Modify Profile'.
There you have it, simple really. If you want to insert an animated picture like mine, these are called gif's or gif. If you want a gif go to www.google.co.uk and do a search for 'free gif' and pic and image, right click and save to your computer................back to the top and off you go.
