Sorry keenasmustard, meant to reply but got carried away.
Well I have a part time fitter now but used to have two, one full time one part time but since Sam came in and the need to kill us all off I only use a part time one now as and when required.
I pay him 5% commission on anything he fits so if he does 1000 pounds worth he gets 50.
He also works for another agent but I believe he pays him hourly but my fitter reckons it works out about the same.
It is harder to grow now with the use of a fitter as once we used to get a monthly bonus which was to enable you to grow without loosing any of your income but now if you do use one and pay him 5% then their is not much left of the original 14.68% after other costs for you so only get one if you are really struggling but tell him its on a as required basis.

Yep i have a fitter.

its taken a couple of years to find a chap who is absolutely spot on.

Not in it for the money, he is semi retired, and needed something to get him out of the house.

Nevr had a problem with anything he has done in the 9 months i have had him.

He rings the customer and sorts out the fitting times to suit him.

He invoices me i pay him 5% of order value. We are both happy.

Trouble is, now i get no bonus cos the tagets are so unrealistic, i obviously dont make as much.

Hillarys want him to invest in a sam device so he can be controlled by them as well. Bollocks to that.

Just where is the incentive to work hard, honest, and do the best for this company now.

Why have i gone to the bother of setting on a fitter so that i can sell more, cos im not fitting crap all week.

The idea was, at christms for example, i could keep selling right up to cristmas eve, knowing the blinds would be fitted. If i went on hoilday, sell right up to the night before i go, blinds would be fitted whilst i am off.

But no Hillarys dont give a nuts about that do they. Lets keep screwing advisors into the ground.

Anyway, im moaning again, if my f.s.m. reads this it will be more amo for her to have a go at me.

Hey Farmer, you have to be kidding me. They have actually said your fitter needs a Sam.
I find that totally ludicrous.
I mentioned the problem with pl insurance to my fitter and the fact that if he damages anything he might have to pay, I can not print his reply on here, so imagine what he would say if I said Hillbillys want you to buy one of these nice little tracking devices called Sam. My god I could not even mention it to him without getting a mouthful.
