XMAS CUT OFF

With xmas nearly here ( only 10 weeks )
I have to work out how late in to
December I can keep on selling so as
not to get caught out by Hillarys last day delivery
leaving me fitting christmas eve.

I usually stop selling for christmas 10 days before
( never make my bonus in December )

Does everyone stop selling early or is it just me....lol

No, you not the only one, I generally stop about 2 weeks b4 xmas

I'm sure we all set our own cut off for Christmas.

Hillarys assume that we work until 9.00 pm on Christmas Eve but, in the real world, we all have family commitments and many will have to finish a few days early to travel to their Christmas destinations, etc.

However, now that we have SAM and that we make fitting appointments at the time of sale, it should be a lot more manageable because Hillarys are committed to delivery in time for the fit date. Therefore we shouldn't get caught out by having 20/30 blinds delivered on the afternoon of the 23rd.

Personally, with Christmas being on a Saturday, I will aim to finish at lunchtime on the Thursday, take the next week off, and start again on 2 January.

Maybe it's just me, but I do get a little bored with having too much time off during the Xmas break - so much so I went on holiday last year !

As HQ still promise upto a week b4 , I tend to play it by ear. Normally I end up with a few to do Xmas eve.

The last thing I would want is HQ taking too many orders and not being able to get them out like they did a couple of years ago.

Always a fun time tho eh ?

Here here Motters.Cant beat 2 weeks in the sun over the festive period.Weather here is OK in the summer so that is annual hoilday time.I put earnings from August in the pot and spent it.
