Brother printer

Has anyone changed the managed to change the battery, as
far as i know its not user serviceable. Brother uk cant give
me an answer on the obsolete current unit?

Also I'm thinking of getting a Cordless SDS drill to replace
me corded version. How do you find them, battery life, weight etc.
is it worth the cost

changing the battery is easy if you can get hold of one brother would not supply one i had to buy a secondhand printer which is cheaper than buying a battery. corded drills are good but my advice is buy a good one buying cheap is not worth it.

Think it's easy to answer that question...............GP hasn't been happy with Hillarys for a long time judging from his postings over the past few months, so that's probably why he's left!

I haven't been happy with Hillarys for some time!

In fact a very long time!!!

So rather than whine about it I decided last year to set up my own business.

Whilst I applaud many who post here for the business they do each month it does have me asking 'WHY?'

I think one person posted here recently stating they are doing £30k+ each month & are happy doing it the 'Hillarys way'!!!.

For my part, I have had years of building my Agency up, only to have Hillarys decide to knock it down again with taking on poor quality Advisors & moving the 'goal-posts' so often that I could never earn beyond a certain point.
I lost over a third of my income because of poor judgments made by poor quality & very stupid FSM'S!!!!
The managers immediately above them are even 'more stupider'!

So now I find myself in the situation I should have been in 4 years ago .... namely .... Owning my own business making the right choices for my business & for the type of area I live in.

I am averaging £10k per month turn over at the moment with signs of it building way beyond that.
Of the £10k turn over I make +/- 50% of that!!!!!!
That equates to 3 months in my business earning what would take me 9 months with Hillarys .... & I now have loads of free time to spend with my family & to do what I want to do!!!

Advertising is the biggest outlay but still nowhere near want some people think or believe!!!
There are better ways to get leads than to spend too much on paper advertising!!!!!

Hillarys are very good at 'brain-washing' everyone into thinking it is impossible to survive in this business without them!!!!

My answer to that is ..... 'B0ll0cks!!!'

So anyone here wishing ... 'If only I could go it alone'!!!!!!!!! .... I'd say ....... DO IT!!!!!!

Hillarys are aware that people are dual-trading anyway, ... but they still don't know to what extent!!!!

I'd put the figure at around 40% of the Agencies!!!!

Hillarys idea of putting other companies out of business has failed whilst 'p155ing off' its sales force into the bargain & forcing us to put our efforts into other ways of earning money to feed the family & keep a roof over our heads!!!!

So, there you have it!!!!! .... I'm already in pastures new where the grass IS greener & life is SO MUCH better!!!!!

I'll look in from time to time .... but in the words of Truman Burbank ......

l think that many more people are going to leave Hillarys this year. A few specialist will stay, but for the rest of us, we are all just making up the numbers and will be waisted at their pleasure.
