Should someone do this post for all the new users, have I just nominated myself to do it?
Can we also have a computer problems forum for people who are having technical issues that I can hopefully help with?

Can anyone log in to this forum?
It's occurred to me that all large companies run some form of competitor watch. If someone from, say UK Blinds, read the comments re quality and service, they could use this when quoting against us

At present anyone is able to access this forum. The only way to do this would be for people to have to manually request to join the forum, this application would then be assessed and either accepted or rejected based on info provided. To put in place other security measures would probably mean a forum upgrade to pHp Nuke and an email issued to the current database asking them to sign back in to the forum. You could post a Webmaster email address at the top for new members to apply to join the site....simple and secure. With this format you also have the option for Admins to give forum access to certain forums, in other words you can set up specific forums that certain people can not read..........soooooo. Are you still with me? You could open access to the forum to make it user sign up as with the current forum then the Admins could give forum access based on if the user can prove they are an Advisor or need to see the forums, other than that they would just see a few 'public' forums. That whole changeover takes a bit of time to do, it is free but its a case of someone sitting down and messing around with the code.

Has something changed on this website? I'm suddenly finding the view wider than my screen, and have to keep scrolling left/right. Started about 2 days ago

You've probably altered the text size you are viewing. If you are using Micro$oft Explorer go to 'View' 'Text Size' and try a smaller size.

Re the wide screen
Get Motters on the job he'll perform a Caesarian on it and the script will fit perfectly and the scar will heal in time. Just touch it up Kiwi Polish ( same as you do for the Wooden Venetians""!!!

Glad to hear others have the screen problem. I did ask my FSM, but he said I'm the only one with the problem, everyone else thinks it's great. OOps, might be getting my subjects crossed here!

Did you all get a Microsoft Update appear recently? What web viewer are you using. Get yourselves Mozilla Firefox www.mozilla.com/firefox/As for the website layout, that's all down to Motters (points finger and laughs ;D). I do not have the ability to change the script, layout or sizes of the site. Are you all running the follwoing regularly: Anti Spyware software Anti Virus software Do you all have a Firewall installed: Talk to me people, one of our number found two Trojans recently..........NOT GOOD NEWS. Get in touch via PM or on the IT help section if you need to know more.
