I am a fairly new recruit and I am due to go on the sam training course after Christmas . The possibility of obtaining a second hand unit was one of the questions I would be asking.
So the answer to your question is yes .Where are you located ? I am in the north-west

Blackmail is again showing it`s face
Any agent who wont sign up for Sam is being refused any
pre addresed stationary (Envelopes For invoices ETc) Cash still has to be
paid in Sam or not.Cash flow will suffer,
This is very bad business practice .As I for one will only send
payments once a week now .
And not the usual 2 or 3 times .This will cost Hillarys far more than they save by being petty.

I'm fairly sure that anything marked 'Freepost' won't arrive unless Hillarys have subscribed to it, and I don't think they have!

To all advisors Due to a promtion in my full time job I am having to leave Hillarys. I therefore have for sale a printer as used with the SAM, I have printed out 67 orders approx, and have had it since August, so the gurantee would still be good. It will be going on e bay in 2 weeks. £200.00 worth every penny Happy Hammer  |

Out selling today - Tried to put first 3 orders through on SAM , but it cannot connect ? Whats Up !
This is just the point that worries me - You can NOT commit 100% to SAM. Out comes the paper order pads again!!
Rang in to tell of the problem _ yep they know all right , Cos every other agent has just rung in to !!!!

Sent a quote in this morning. 20 minutes later client rings to go ahead... ( UK blinds direct would NOT GO as low as Hillarys!!!!)
Rang Option 4 at Colwick to change it to an order..
"Oh No You can't do that It takes it 2 days before we get quotes in on the system--unless you are on the special trial... Ring us up on Friday???"
But said I After 2 days its too late to do that.....
Oh yes they replied so it is!!!! Sorry...
The order is a loss to me in view of mileage and low value so I rang customer to say "Sorry It was such a good deal its all gone You'll have to go back to UK Blinds Direct!!!!
Look after No 1 ( That's called doing it the Hillarys Way!!!!!!!)

Got a pack of sam paper today with order folders and a bunch of envelopes . One small problem , in bold print it says TREASURY DEPARTMENT, now if that is not asking for lost cheques etc. I don't know what is.So please get on to your printers and change it to DEPT XYZ or something else soon.

Any one downloaded the new Sam version yet.
Did it this morning. Although I have not used it out in the field yet I tried out the message flag on the first page. One of the things asked for by advisor's on my Sam survey. Very impressed.
Customer edit screen will come in very useful as well to amend all those wrong input details at CLG.
Well done you guys at IT, credit where its due, Makes Sam a little easier to use.

Hi All
Can anyone tell me if you break your PDA after your warranty as ran out are you liable for the cost to replace it. ie £475.for PDA and £317 for the printer. Is there any cover from Hillary’s. I don’t think there is, another sweet move for Hillerys
