Faxme11....... The trouble is - we remember how it used to be. As to everyone on here moaning...... I can't believe how SARCASTIC everyone is!!! On a plus note.... I rarely log on without at least one post making me laugh. ;D [glow=red,2,300]New law[/glow]...... each moaning comment must be followed by a funny one.... in that order. AND everyone must use the spele checcar....

Give 'faxme11' time Ladies & Gentlemen ...... He/She will come round to our 'sarcastic' way of thinking once the 'Rose coloured tint' is washed away!!!!!! Personally, I've found the site to be of great encouragement because I can see it isn't just me as my 'Plonker' FSM keeps telling me! Have been able to have a great big moan AND it feels even better releasing all that 'pent up' stress by saying what I want to!!!! Like the humour & .... LOVE the SARCASM!!!!!!!!

Hi, first posting on this forum, just thought i'd introduce myself, as i'm just getting to grips with the intricacies of computers, having been without one for years. Hillary's advisor for 7 years now. oh! how things have changed, not all for the better either!

point there mike but it would be good prep for them to be aware of the forum members views as i thought the meeting is to give the company a representation of all advisors views chanelled through us 12 forum nembers if 6 are not aware of us thats 50% of views unheard its a shame but perhaps next meeting we will be 800 strong :)welcome norfolk cockney

Russell - actually I think the company's idea is that they will get individual input from 23 experinced advisors - it is we who have decided to use this forum to get a more representative range of views (and of course they knew we would).
Don't worry - efforts are under way to try to make contact with the 23 to ensure that most of them are aware of the forum, and hopefully join us and read the relevant threads, before we meet next week.
In the meantime, WHY IS THERE SO MUCH APATHY OUT THERE ?
We have about 30 very active members of this forum who have done their bit to contribute towards our brief for the seminars. There are others who have responded direct by personal message or email, but there are so many who don't seem to be bothered. I have seen names logged into this site over the last few days, who are therefore clearly aware of what is going on, but have yet to come forward with anything themselves.
It's a bit like the people who don't bother to vote at elections and then slag off the government down at the pub. Please, come on the silent majority, and take some interest and responsibility in guiding your own future.

Hi Folks! This is my first posting on this site!!!!
I only heard about it this morning when begging some 35mm Venetian brackets off a nearby Agent. I was gobsmacked when I heard it and have spent the last 30 mins avidly reading all I could find.
No sits and no fits this afternoon so decided to join up.
Its a surreal experience coming late, its like hopping outside myself and looking in at what I am doing.
So many of you lot are experiencing what I am.
Trying to be objective and not going out on a limb, I will be posting my 10 pet hates tonite--but they have all been written down so far.All I can do is add my votes.
I have not met or spoken to my manager since October last. Get emails but thats not true one-2-one communication. Waste of space--What is an FSM, as opposed to a Regional Manager? What do they do?
I suffer deductions unjustly, directly because of discounts given away and by DOR ripping into my time for nil benefit. I get service calls as sales pitches, and do about £15k per month. This pulls in £2grand gross , now I outlay £600 pcm with van lease, SAM costs(What a rip-off--I BUY THE ORDER PAPER and PAY for the credit and debit clearances) phone costs, diesel, repairs, tools, etc etc and I am now down by £3,400 in NETT income on last year 2004 compared to 2003. In 2003 I sold £167,000 and in 2004 I sold £168,700. Where will it end?
If this year doesn't pick up then it will be my last with Hillarys. I have been here 9 years. Tony Hillary recruited me.
I want to join up but by the looks of it I have nothing new to add. Maybe thats why so many sit on sidelines and watch and can see no benefit in joining day-2-day.
Or is it "ONLY ME"? Ye Gods the number of times I've had that phrase over the phone, and from a manager ( whatever that is!)
