You can get pre printed envelopes from Hillarys addressed to the "Treasury Dept" for your SAM receipts. But yes you will need a stamp.

You Sir MUST BE mistaken...............By Hillary's not supplying envelopes free of charge so we can send in THEIR customers orders and monies would imply they are a second rate tightwad shambles of a company :oand we all know they are not !!!!!!1dont we ...............

Comments please on this little c0ck up ?
Went to customer , they ordered 3 blinds at £360 (Mmmm nice order!) Paid with card a deposit of £180 . So far so good . BUT ....Sammy did not communicate and the payment was declinded, SAM said HO would take the monies.
Fast forward 2 weeks and 6 day's ........ The blinds arrive With an Invoice . Invoice shows Deposit £180 Taken ! Then i get phone call from Credit Control who say ignore invoice and get a FULL Payment on Fitting .
My question is this , when customer see's the invoice he will think the deposit has been paid - He may not have his card statement to hand to verify ! So somehow i get FULL payment from him of £360 Well thats fine for Hillary's but it's not good enough for me or the customer .
How often is this happening ! Is it just me ( FSM says YES!) No wonder then if every other month we have another CREDIT FORTNIGHT.
I was told SAM holds all the answers - Well for sure IT DOE'S NOT !

No wonder then if every other month we have another CREDIT FORTNIGHT. I was told SAM holds all the answers - Well for sure IT DOE'S NOT ! This happens all the time with Sammy. Deposit taken but not taken and will be dealt with by Manuel at H/O. Manuel, does not do his job properly, Sammy does not do his job properly either and even if they both do it right then we have invoices that can throw a spanner in the works with split invoices and negative balances. and a few months later we get.....credit week!!. This is where you are expected to go through all your past payments and invoices to prove that you did your job correctly. Can someone remind me what it is we make and sell. I thought it was blinds, plain and simple, bog standard blinds. Not nuclear fusion reactors that come with a mountain of red tape and complicated political intricacies to get round. So no, it is not only you. It is every single one of us on a massive paper chase. Something Sammy was supposed to eradicate but in reality has given us all far more work to do, especially H/O staff.

Had the head office will manually enter many times with sam, always been ok except once which was a couple of weeks ago. Same as you deposit was on the invoice and I had to explain to customer that it had been taken, I'd dealt with customer before so she trusted me but it's not good. I also got a call from credit control and I said they should ring the customer but they didn't want to know. Hope this is not going to start being a problem.

This is going to be bad to me! All last weeks orders & balances were done by credit card have had to be manually done by HO. Because according to I.T yheres a problem with the system

As of this morning I am parting company with Hillary's after 15 years. I now have a printer (seldom used) which I do not need. If anyone wants to make me an offer, I shall be looking to sell it.
Good luck to all who remain, but I have to say that, despite the financial implications, I feel like a weight has been lifted from my shoulders. Not the job it was 15 years ago and certainly not the same feeling about the company. I am not sure when it happened (probably gradually) but it is now "us and them".

Thanks very much and, no, I don't think I will. I have such mixed feelings but nevertheless feel that a weight has been removed from my shoulders.

Hey Eko - I'm relatively new to Hillary's and feel I'm getting on well (hoping it's not a case of fattening before the slaughter..if you know what I mean) and still learning stuff through this site - luckily to have this contact too - and quite aware of the tenure some you you more mature advisor's have - excuse the mature bit - but if you don't mind me asking what do you mean about the weight being lifted? (other than the samples bag, of course). It's a great shame that after 15 years you are leaving but hopefully to pastures greener!

To Noggins .......
The weight lifted is the utter fustration we have with Hillarys Blinds Group , specifically thier inept way of dealing with the advisor network.
As you are new to the game it will be some months before you realise how futile it all is .
You will see a way to earn commission , and as you flourish they will place obsticles in your way (other advisors close by!) eventually you will see there is no further way to progress !
If you read back through this forum and the 'original' forum on yahoo groups , you will come to see that the company has gone haywire in the last 2-3 years . Diary booking - SAM - FSM's- Lead to diary times - Missmanagement - Inferior products - cost saving plans - false promises - Spin - ..... god the list is endless.
You may think we moan on here , but we have every reason to , believe me . But ask yourself this . Once you know the way ahead is blocked what will you do ? , Like others here you leave or play hillarys at their own game and get even .
You are on a learning curve and good luck to you , but whatever you do have a plan 'B' . One day you'll be so glad you did .
As for the fellow that after all those years struggled with the Colwick monster , no wonder he's away ! he needs a darn good rest . they mess with your mind ! congratulations to him - He's Won!
Then......... because (apparently ) the company is doing so well the shareholders want to sell ! This is the 3rd time its happened , and each time things get worse !
Advisors will not be required in the future , as web blinds and blind supermarket take off . The elete sales of specialist products will concour all !
You pays your money and makes your choice !
Have a nice day selling one third off , or 3 for 99 ! Spend your time and petrol while hillarys sit back and think of the next thing to f0ck you over !
You think i'm negative - No way man Positive outlook , but not with sillarys. sorry !
